This is a nice, compact jewelry box. I like that it has so many sections for different storage purposes. I really like the interior earring compartment that you pull out of the top. The box turns easily so you can access any side without moving the whole thing. The very pretty light purple exterior of the box is a soft leather material. There are a couple spots that have a slightly wrinkled or indented look, but overall it looks well made. The golden pulls are all sturdy and easy to use. They add a nice and elegant look to the outside. The four sides of the box have a see through window, so you can easily tell which compartment you want to open. The doors open easily, but they do not stay in the open position, so you may need to hold them in place while you pull out the jewelry you want. The interior of the box is a soft velvet that is gentle on jewelry. The tabs to hold necklaces or bracelets are moveable metal pieces covered in fabric, so they can be somewhat adjusted. There are pockets to catch the extra length of necklaces at the bottom. This box is not ideal for long necklaces or bulky items because the compartments are just not that big. There are a lot of ring slots in this box as well. They will only work for skinny rings though. The drawer on the bottom pulls out entirely and can hold some slightly larger items. The middle section holds a lot of earrings! However, that section will really only hold smaller earrings with backs. Overall, I feel like this is a great jewelry box for kids. It is nicely designed to hold smaller items and doesn't take up a lot of space. It is pretty and functional. I am not sure I consider it worth the current price of $49.99, but at the time of my review there is a 30% off coupon, which makes it a much better deal. My favorite part of this is the pullout for the earrings! It's so nice. And I love the multiple sides so I can change my display side based on my mood.
