I purchased the XXL and am not sorry. I use it as a combination jewelry box and also for facial/eyebrow shavers and other personal items. I had placed all my jewelry in the box and still had extra room. I emptied out a little set of drawers I had to hold some personal shavers, clippers, etc. and fit them into the empty drawers. I got rid of the other piece I had and love that things are now streamlined. The box itself is beautiful, roomy and fit all my needs. It has ample room for rings, necklaces, pins, bracelets, etc. if you have a lot of jewelry, this is a great size. It's an excellent choice, although I don't have a ton of jewelry, I used the extra room for necessities. The box is very well made, the drawers open easily and I believe this will last a long time. I love this box. It is not just beautiful but it holds all my jewelry in a nice organized manner. I love that you can see through the top and the drawers open and close easily. I just received my jewelry box and it came without any damages. Is very nice and made very well. Has lots of room to put quite a bit of jewelry in it. Got this for my wife. Overall this is a great item for jewelry storage. It fits all different types of jewelry from rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and whatever else. The spacing for each type of item is well made so as to keep your items properly organized allowing you to find the item(s) you want quickly and not spend 20 minutes fishing and untangling things. At least that’s what my wife used to do and I’d quickly disappear to avoid the fallout. But not anymore with this box. I suppose that is the whole point of a jewelry box, but I’m just saying this one achieves that purpose. Jewelry picking for daily or special occasions is now something we can both enjoy (as long as I agree with what she says). There is no assembly required other than organizing your stuff and it works perfectly. The sides open outwards and have small pegs to hang necklaces on, which is nifty. Make sure you check the measurements before you buy so you can visualize how big it is and where it will go.
