Size 24x - pear shaped body with weight carried in the gut. I usually dread buying bathing suits, especially over the internet. You just never know. This one however, is fabulous! Somehow it made me look thinner, sits right on my hips, and doesn’t slip down my shoulders. It fit perfectly in every way and was true to size. Material felt like it would hold for a long time, and the skirt was a great length (I’m 5’4 and it came about 4 inches before my knees). The only drawback - the ruching on the tummy didn’t quite do as it should. My tummy weight pushed it up so it all ruched near the top. Even then though, it still looked pretty good! Lastly, definitely didn’t show ANY cleavage for me, but i have small boobs for my type of body. They were just swallowed right up (comfortably), never to see the light of day. Very nice quality of material! I was not expecting it to be as nice as it is. Super cute & fun design. Fits like a dream! The swim suit hunt is hard for us plus sized ladies, our bodies come in all shapes & sizes. But this was the most true to size swim suit I have bought in a long time. Tummy control is good, the ruche design helps hide the tummy and makes me feel more confident. The straps are nice & thick and can be adjusted (love that). Ordered my normal size and it fit well. I found the mid section to be very flattering and was happy with the look as well as the fit. The fabric seemed to be okay, wasn't too flimsy but not the best quality I've seen. For the price I paid, definitely worth it so far. We'll see how it holds up after being in the water. Read more

I really hate water, swimming, heat, sunshine, and sand—basically everything associated with wearing a swimsuit. (Yeah, I'm a Floridian, but I use gallons of sunscreen and wear a hat daily, LOL!) But I needed a swimsuit for a trip and ordered this one. I fully planned to hate everything but the purple berry color. Imagine my surprise when this swimsuit was CUTE! and COMFY! and STAYED PUT!!!!!!! Bonus: I ordered my normal size and it fit perfectly on the first try. Highly recommend. Will it last? Amazing swimsuit! It’s a one piece, so it was great for the ocean. Honestly, when dried, I could have worn it out for the evening. Very flattering, very comfortable. Strongly recommended. It’s a nice swimsuit and seemed well made. Even though I sized up, it did not fit me correctly. I’m about 5’6” but have a long torso and carry most of my weight in hips/thighs, normally wear an 18/20. I think this suit would probably work well for other plus size women with an average to short torso and more apple shaped. Read more

I've just received this so I can't comment on how it holds up over time. However, I tried it on and it is true to size. I also love the purple color and the multi-color dots are a really attractive feature. I am 5'2" tall and the skirt is longer and cuts me just a bit above my knee. This is fine with me though, as it hides the worst features of my legs. It really looks and fits nicely. Can't wait to use it on our beach vacation next month. Read more
