I have a lot of tripods and selfie sticks so having one more doesn’t seem that big of a deal, but I proved myself wrong. This Jishane Selfie Stick Tripod with a 360 degree ball head has some tricks that I have not seen before in a selfie stick. Usually selfie sticks with the built in tripod base have a 1/4”-20 threaded stud on top and you’ll mount your action camera or quick release apparatus to it and this mount is fixed in position. Here’s where this stick is different. The ball head allows you to mount your action camera directly to it and then tilt or swivel in any direction you want. Tilt it back towards the stick for that selfie shot or away for an over the edge of a high bridge shot, the tilt and spin is whatever you want. The ball head is a transformer in such that it has a phone mount built into it. The top swivels 90 degrees from the base and has an extendable phone grip section. You don’t need to carry around an action camera mount and then a separate phone mount to attach to it. It’s all in the one ball head mount. The extension on the stick is long. You can extend it up to 66.5 inches. That’s one of the longer selfie sticks I have now. That coupled with the built in tripod built into the handle (just pull the three legs out and then lock them in place with the orange locking ring and you have an awesome tripod) you can set your action camera or phone at eye level. Technically you can mount a regular DSLR or mirrorless camera to it but with the small tripod profile I wouldn’t extend it that high due to it would be top heavy and easily topple over. For a lightweight action camera or phone, that’s not an issue. The best part of all this selfie stick is the price. It’s less expensive for the other selfie/tripod sticks out there that have less functionality and less build quality. If you need a selfie/tripod stick (a very universally useable one), this one will not disappoint you. I forgot to mention the bluetooth picture controller (a bonus that works with android and iOS). This tripod is well thought out. Its compact but also feature packed. Collapsed all the way, it's roughly 14-1/2" tall. But, extend the legs, extend the top, and you have an overall height of about 66-1/2". There's a carrying bag, and with everything in the bag it weighs about 19-3/4 ounces. The tripod has three legs that extend outwards which give it the stability. You can lock the legs with a rotating lock at whatever setting you want. If you take them to the full extension they extend approximately 10" from the center of the tripod. If you have less space to extend legs, you could extend them less and lock them to a smaller width. The height of the tripod comes from 7 telescoping pole pieces. There's no lock but the friction on these feels sufficient to keep anything well supported without being so hard to move that it's difficult to setup the tripod. If you were going to use a very heavy lens on a large camera the telescoping poles might try collapsing, but you'd probably want a wider base with such a setup anyway. At the top there's a ball connection with platform or phone holder. You can go a full 90 degrees down in one location on the ball connection. The platform has a neat bubble level so you can see if you're actually level on the tripod. There's a standard 1/4" screw for devices with a screw fitting for tripod and a hand dial to screw that screw into your device. Or you can pop up the phone holder which has a spring holder. There's a Bluetooth remote that stores in one of the legs. The remote uses a CR1220 battery and the battery is easily replaced with a Philips screwdriver. There's a physical on/off switch on the remote. I turned it on and it was very easy to pair to my phone. The remote shows up under the name "Jishane". For my phone a quick push on the remote takes a photo and long press takes video. Read more

This selfie stick tripod with 1/4" screw has quickly become one of my most-used camera accessories. It’s incredibly versatile, well-built, and handles everything from action cameras to phones with ease. Usage: The 3-in-1 design is a huge win. I use it as a handheld grip, a selfie stick, and a full tripod depending on the situation. The 7-section telescoping pole extends smoothly from compact travel size to a massive 66.5 inches, which is perfect for wide-angle shots, overhead perspectives, and group photos. When folded, it’s lightweight and easy to pack, making it ideal for travel and outdoor use. Quality & Stability: Build quality is excellent for the weight. The aluminum alloy pole, reinforced joints, and non-slip rubber feet provide impressive stability—even near full extension. In tripod mode, it feels secure and confidence-inspiring, not flimsy like many lightweight selfie sticks. The tripod lock mechanism adds extra reassurance when shooting longer clips. 360° Ball Head: The 360-degree ball head is smooth and easy to adjust, allowing quick switching between vertical and horizontal shots. Once tightened, it stays firmly locked in place without drifting. Compatibility: Compatibility is outstanding. The universal 1/4" screw works flawlessly with Insta360 and compact cameras, while the included action camera adapter covers GoPro-style mounts. It truly feels like a one-tripod-fits-all solution. Remote Control: The Bluetooth remote is a great bonus. It snaps securely into the handle, doesn’t fall out during movement, and works reliably from a distance—perfect for solo shooting, family photos, or tripod-mounted video. Value: Considering the extension range, stability, accessories included, and overall build quality, this tripod offers excellent value. It easily replaces multiple accessories with one well-designed tool. If you’re looking for a tall, stable, and highly versatile selfie stick tripod for action cameras, 360 cameras, or phones, this one is an easy 5-star recommendation. Read more
