It's a decent compact charger that fits almost anywhere in a laptop bag and provides a simple power option that's a little more portable than the giant bricks that come with most laptops. It does provide a bit less power than those, though - but it's great for ultralight laptops, iPads, etc. I find the inclusion of a lightning port over a second USB-C to be a curious choice, though - most/all iPhones shipped with a USB-A or USB-C to Lightning cable and I don't think I've ever seen a lightning->lightning cable - like ever. This slot would've been much better served by a second USB-C or even a USB-A. One other thing I'm not a fan of with this design: the flip-down power plug is great for compactness, but on a plane your brick is almost guaranteed to fall out of the outlet. This one seems light enough that it might not be a huge problem, but it will still happen occasionally. Read more

I was looking for a fast-charging USB-C adapter that could replace multiple bricks, and this Jiunai 65W GaN charger has been a solid pick. Right out of the box, it feels compact and well-built. The foldable plug makes it ideal for travel, and the included 6.6ft braided USB-C cable is a nice bonus — thick, durable, and long enough to reach awkward outlets. In terms of performance, this thing delivers. I tested it charging a MacBook, an iPhone, and wireless earbuds all at once, and it handled everything without overheating. The PD (Power Delivery) charging is legit — my MacBook Pro charged from around 20% to over 60% in just under 40 minutes. The three ports are smartly arranged: 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A, which gives flexibility for older accessories too. I like that it shows small LED indicators so you know it’s working. It’s also GaN-based, which means it’s more efficient and doesn’t get hot like older bricks. Only minor downside is the brand is less known, but in practice, it worked just as well as my Anker and Baseus chargers. If you want a single charger for your laptop, phone, and other gear — this is a great all-in-one solution. Read more

As another reviewer indicated, the included cable may look nice, but it maxes out at 30W. When using a better cable, I observed 45W (I don't have a device that can take the full 65W). The charging block itself isn't bad. It's nice that it has the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) feature of Power Delivery (PD) 3.0, which is supposed to reduce the heat burden on cell phones and charge them more efficiently. See the specs on the image for full details on what the block can do. I found the inclusion of the lightning port rather annoying; I didn't see it in the page headline and I had assumed instead that the block had two USB-C ports. On top of that, the lightning port maxes out at 48W, not 65W. Note also that the entire block maxes out at 65W, so if you have multiple devices plugged in, they will compete for power. Thus if you have a laptop that wants the full 65W, you might want to get a charging block that can handle more output at once. Read more

This Jiunai 65W GaN charger block appears well-constructed, with AC prongs that fold neatly, making it reasonably compact for its power rating. However, the included 6.6ft USB-C cable is a major letdown. When used, it would never deliver more than 30W. Swapping to a known good cable immediately yielded 62W, confirming the charger unit can deliver near its advertised 65W. The charger's port layout is also a bit odd, featuring a USB-C, a USB-A, and a USB-L (Lightning) port, where another USB-C would have been much more versatile. In multi-port testing, I observed 45W from USB-C and 11W from USB-A. This output aligns with specs printed on the unit itself, but it falls short of the higher combined output claims on the Amazon product page, which seem overly optimistic. Under a 45W+11W load, or when charging at 62W, the unit warmed up noticeably, with the temperature staying around an average of 107°F. Conclusion: The charger block itself is capable of delivering most of its advertised power (with a good cable). However, the overall kit is significantly hampered by the problematic bundled cable, the less-than-ideal port selection, and optimistic marketing. Given these disappointments, particularly the cable issue and the price, it earns a 3.5-star rating, rounded to 3 stars here. Read more

This 65W charger is a total game-changer! With 1 USB-C port, I USB-L and 1 USB-A port, it lets me charge my laptop, phone, and earbuds all at once — and fast. The power delivery is excellent, especially from the USB-C ports, which charge my iPhone and iPad quickly without overheating. Read more
