Bought these to put on bank where river rowers are returning to boathouse in the dark, and it's often difficult to see the entrance to embayment. I put one on each side, they are very bright, and now I'm confident I'm not going to crash into the shore or overshoot the entrance - they are my lighthouse beacons. I don't know how long they last, but it is enough for us rowers who are finished at 9:00 PM Eastern US time. Quality is okay for price, installation couldn't be easier - just stick in the ground.
