I'm in the gym 4-5 days a week depending on what's happening in life at the moment. I've got a standard set of outfits that I wear and I'm sure the regulars at the gym have seen them all. When I saw this shirt, I figured it would be a good addition and a change from the regular outfits. I didn't know exactly what to expect but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This shirt fits great. It is what I would refer to as partial compression. It's form fitting without being constricting and it doesn't suction to you either. It's in that sweet spot of accenting your assets without revealing that touch of extra weight you are desperately trying to lose. The material is thicker than expected, stretchy and very comfortable. The ribbing (it's more like a grid pattern but very small rectangles) adds a nice texture that makes the shirt interesting. I plan to wear this to the gym, but I can definitely see just wearing it out and about. It's fairly versatile in that regard. The shirt also seems well constructed with no hanging threads and the seam appears to be double stitched. It also has one of my favorite features in clothing, it can go into the dryer! I will say that this shirt does seem to be on the higher end of pricing for similar items. Given the quality of the shirt, I would say the slight premium is well worth it. Read more

These JMIERR textured knit shirts ended up being a lot nicer than I originally thought they'd be. The fabric carries more weight than your standard gym tee, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. It surprised me initially, but it's because the construction is solid and built to last. Nothing flimsy here. The ribbed knit feels high quality with good stretch that snaps back without losing shape. It hugs the torso and arms nicely for an athletic fit yet gives plenty of room to move during sets or runs. Comfort level is super high. It's soft against the skin with just enough texture to feel premium and it handles sweat well without clinging. The tail length is also a plus, in my opinion. They run noticeably longer than most short sleeve workout shirts so they stay tucked during lifts or sit right when left untucked. No constant tugging or midriff showing mid workout. I've worn these for gym days casual outings and even under a jacket. They wash great hold color and don't pill or stretch out. Solid upgrade over thinner tees I've used before. Worth every penny. Five stars all day and I'll pick up a few more. Read more

The JMIERR textured knit tee fits like a partial compression shirt — snug enough to show muscle definition without feeling like it's restricting movement. The ribbed texture gives it a more finished look than a standard cotton gym shirt, so it works for both the gym and casual wear without looking like you forgot to change after your workout. The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, which means it stretches easily, dries quickly, and doesn't hold onto sweat the way cotton does. What caught me off guard is the thickness. For a a shirt at this price point, I expected thin, see-through material. This has enough weight to it that it drapes properly and doesn't cling to every imperfection. The texture helps with that too — the ribbed knit pattern breaks up the surface visually. The crewneck sits flat against the collar without bunching or riding up. The curved hem adds a few inches of length that keeps the shirt tucked in during overhead movements or if you're reaching for something. Sleeve length hits right at mid-bicep, which is where a fitted tee should sit on a medium frame. Sizing runs true to the JMIERR chart, but be aware this is a muscle fit — not a relaxed cut. If you're between sizes or carry weight in the midsection rather than the chest and shoulders, size up. The stretch in the elastane gives you some room, but the shirt is designed to be form-fitting. At 5'10" and around 185 lbs, a medium fits right without being too tight in the torso. The navy blue color held up through a few wash cycles without noticeable fading. I washed cold and tumble dried low, which is standard for polyester blends. No pilling on the textured surface so far. For the $$$, this is solid value for a gym-to-casual fitted tee. It won't replace a premium athletic brand shirt in terms of moisture management or odor resistance, but for everyday wear where you want something that looks sharper than a plain crew neck, it does the job. I REALLY like this shirt! It is form-fitting and yet slimming at the same time. I don't know how it does it, but it actually makes me look more slim. The fabric feels slightly thicker than a typical t-shirt, and it has a textured feel that is nice. If you look up close, it's like little tiny squares in the pattern, and it's almost like each little square is a separate elastic/stretchy bit. It's VERY comfortable, and fits as expected. Even though the material is thicker than a regular t-shirt, it feels cooler. It's not necessarily one of those "dry shirts" that are meant for use in the water, but this one does seem to dry fast, so it's good for exercising or yard work, etc. I never thought I'd get excited about a shirt, but I really do like this one a lot! This is a nice workout shirt. The fabric stretches in both directions and is very breathable. It feels textured but slides easily over skin. The fabric feels robust and medium thickness. I am 6'4" and 180 lbs and ordered in Large. You can see in the picture that it is fairly loose, not tight like the listing pictures with the more muscular model. I wish I had ordered a medium as I think that would have feltand looked more flattering. Read more
