After wearing these jeans for a bit longer, a couple of quality issues have become hard to ignore. What still works: The denim itself is soft and comfortable, and the stretch makes them easy to move in. The relaxed/baggy fit is still nice for everyday wear—roomy without looking sloppy. But here’s where they miss the mark: Very cheap pocket lining. The inside pocket material feels thin and almost paper-like. It’s the kind of fabric that makes you wonder how long it will last before wearing through. Every time I slide my hand in, it reminds me that this was a cost-cutting decision. Bleach pattern looks rushed. Mine has a striped, uneven look to it—not in an intentional “distressed” way, but more like the bleaching was done hastily or with a poorly placed template. It stands out, and not in a good way. Combined with the slightly inconsistent fit I mentioned earlier, these issues make the jeans feel less premium than the product description suggests. Final thoughts: They’re comfortable enough for casual wear, but the cheap pocket fabric and sloppy bleach pattern take away from the overall experience.
