My baby is 4 months old and 18lb these fit him loosely but comfy. Size 18 months. I think they would be too tight for an 18 month old but they are very soft and good quality cotton. These are regular underwear and don’t hold any liquid. If thats what you are wanting they are great. If you want them to be leak proof you will be disappointed. My kiddo went wee in them and it just soaks through and ends up on the floor. We decided to do nude for potty training instead, otherwise you're gonna need a whole pile of these for the day to continuously change them out. Diapers hold multiple wee’s, underwear do not. I have a very petite two year old and I ordered no less than 7 different brands of undies for him before I found these. For reference, he is 27 months old and still fits in 18 month Cat & Jack brand pants with plenty of room in the waist to grow... The 2T's swallow him. These undies fit him perfectly.
