I bought this item as new, no question about the listing, it didn't say open box or packaging may show signs of wear, or display item.. nothing! And I paid full price, no discount as if it was "used - like - new!" .... Anyway, the package arrived on time, but one end was torn open as though it was at least looked at by a previous customer who decided they didn't want it and ultimately returned it. I pulled everything out and inspected the contents to see why the package was open, and sure enough 1 of the 4 garments looked to be stretched noticeably bigger than the other 3 (which had nothing more than folding creases from packaging) the one pair even had a nice bulge as well as stretch marks and wrinkles in all the places it couldn't have acquired in regular packaging or transport. The garment either came off a fairly big display (mannequin) or someone a couple sizes too big wore it for more than a couple minutes and then decided they had to go because they didn't fit! I don't know how the retailer could even try to resell the package, used or otherwise, especially used! It's underwear for f*** sake! And when someone returns an open package of underwear you usually put it aside, with rare exceptions like maybe if it was thoroughly inspected and deemed to be unused you could probably try to re-sell the item as an open package at a discounted price. Sure as hell not used - listed as New! I buy a lot of stuff online these days, and this kind of crap seems to be getting more and more common, and I'm sick of it.. It is supposed to be convenient to buy online, but what is convenient about having to return every 5th purchase (not because you didn't want it, but because the retailer screwed you) and reorder the correct item again.
