I have two pairs of these, and I absolutely love them. I'm 5'3" and about 130 lbs and a medium works great. I was looking for leggings that are primarily cotton and so I was happy to see that these are 95% cotton. Honestly these are the best leggings I've ever had. I also really love the deep side pockets. I have been wearing these leggings for at least 5 years. Marshalls and TJ Maxx used to sell these exact leggings and the sizing was always consistent. They are not shiny, and were always super soft and felt wonderful and roomy in the waist. Being that my older Jockey cotton leggings have all developed holes and can only be used for around the house, I came here on Amazon looking for them. YAY! They have them! I ordered 3 pairs, all the exact same size, at a discounted price in one single order and was so excited. I opened the first pair and wore them right away. I was in heaven! Then, I opened the second pair a couple weeks later. NOPE. Super scratchy material and felt so much smaller. Then I went back to the first pair to make sure I didn't put on pounds LOL. Yep, the second pair was not the same leggings I have loved for so long. Even after washing that first pair, they still felt soft and fit nice and roomy in the waist. I crossed my fingers in anticipation for the third pair to fit. NOPE. Same problem. I ordered 3 pairs of identical leggings, and only one pair of the three fits!!?? The other two pairs are made with an elastic waistband that it constricting and the material just isn't the same :( I am so sad. I could spend hours ordering more pairs and hoping for the best, but at a 30% rate of fit I am just not in the mood for the hassle of returning leggings at the local UPS- such a pain. And on that note, for some reason Amazon won't give me the Kohls option anymore for returns which was always so much fun for me. I prefer in person shopping, so when returning Amazon items at Kohls, I would always get a coupon and get to shop for items in person. Not sure why my local Kohls still has a long line of returners but I no longer can!? I could go on and on, but the conclusion is that these leggings are inconsistent, like most items sold on Amazon, and it bums me out. Read more
These are great leggings for someone looking for cotton. I am trying to changeover my chemical laden Lycra plastic legging to cotton. This can be expensive! I purchased these to try them out. They are great! They do not have the hold and lift of spandex, but surprisingly comfortable and feel great! Just right thickness for me... i live in the South, so I don't want anything extra thick. The legging is very soft and not too tight for me. This is the second pair I bought for the pockets. Hard to find high cotton content leggings nowadays. I would buy again. Read more
