I used to use this on my children about 20 years ago and I loved it for the calm soothing lavender scent now I’m using it for my very hypoallergenic 70 pound pitbull that has severe skin allergies. We have tried many dog shampoos, but we found that they often had a horrible smell or no smell whatsoever so I thought this would be a great way to bathe him. Avoid tears avoid any skin sensitivities and possibly great smell unfortunately over the years I guess they have reformulated it and honestly, I don’t smell that beautiful lavender smell. I used to many years ago when I bathe my children I will still continue to use it because I like the fact that it’s zero tears I can wash my dogs head with it without jeopardizing his eyes and that it is hypoallergenic for his skin I just wished it had more of a scent. My absolute favorite body wash for our little one. Smells great and doesn’t harm her skin. Also nice and sudsy! This bottle lasts forever for us. I hate to ding the product (star rating) for the way it was packaged… but according to the reviews I have read, it is CONSISTENTLY packaged so that the pump will break. I’m not sure why they KEEP packaging it that way. I received my bottle in just a paper envelope - so it is no surprise that it was damaged in shipping. I AM surprised that the bottle stayed together without leaking. Does someone in the packing department have something against Johnson and Johnson? The product itself is great. A light scent, soap that is easy to rinse clean, and no tears. Just make sure you have another soap container to pour it into - since it will arrive with a broken pump. Read more
