Nice Shoes
My First pair of J&M shoes. They are very comfortable and fit my fit well, but they are heavy. The style and workmanship are excellent. The laces are well made and the soles are cushiony without being mush. They are true to fit for my size and width. Read more
This shoe is NOT "Made in USA" as advertised on Amazon!
I ordered this shoe partially because of Johnston & Murphy's reputation for excellent quality but mostly because I was looking to buy a shoe that is made in the United States and noticed that the Amazon website listed it as being "Made in USA." When I received the shoe I was dismayed to find that IT IS NOT MADE IN THE UNITED STATES. The inside of the shoe is clearly marked "Made in China" and even the box states "Made in China." I was considering returning it but decided to keep it because it fits well, is comfortable, and is well-designed, but I wouldn't buy it again because it is not made in the United States. I lowered my Amazon rating for the shoe to 4 instead of 5 not because there is anything wrong with the shoe but because of Amazon's incorrect advertising of it. Amazon, I respectfully request that you update your website for this product very soon to indicate that the shoe is Made in China and not in the United States! Read more
