These water shoes are a bit oversized for my baby who is 13 months old. It says 12-18 months but they are way too big for him at this age. I am sure he will grow into them, but be aware of the larger size if you are ordering for summer. I think this also has to do with size as he is a 12th percentile baby so if you are a 99th percentile baby, that may be totally different. They are very easy to put on with the velcro strap along the entire top making for a large opening to put squirmy feet in. They have a good sole base which is great for protecting feet from getting scraped but also from the weird feeling of sand or rocks on the bottom of the feet which my baby hates! They are not restrictive in his ability to move around and I am sure this will become much better as he grows into them more. Read more

Interesting pair of water shoes. They are mesh and very breathable, and they are built in a way that is conducive to babies with chunky feet. The velcro closure makes it easy to put on and off which is always a plus. They seem comfortable enough as they haven’t rubbed my dudes feets raw in any way, and given how quickly kids feet grow, they’ll get you through a summer without being destroyed. The only thing I have concerns on is the sole material. I imagine it will do well on fully saturated water areas that engulf the foot, but I have grip concerns as I feel on a smooth and dry service it may not give the stability I want, but will need prolonged testing. The grandson will have to grow into these a little bit because we got them early, but for the price I wanted to go ahead and grab them while they were available. Last summer we had a week at the beach and he wasn’t fully walking yet, but this year he definitely will be on the go. I know from personal experience how hot the stand can be on little toes, from my own kids, summer vacations. These have a nice rubber grippy soul to them, which is great for around the pool area, and they are light enough weight, not to make it difficult for him, walking and running around. These are adorable mesh shoes that are perfect for summer and water activities with a toddler! I love the patterns, they function well and that Velcro strap is strong! My 18m old daughter loves playing outside, but her crocs can get caught on things and slip relatively easily. Her daycare also doesn’t allow crocs. I like that these bridge the gap between sneaker and croc, she can get them as wet as she likes and they don’t become slippery or unsafe. The sizing is by age however, which is where this makes it tough to guess. My daughter is tall for her age, she’s already size 7 toddler and moving into size 8. I got the age 2-2.5 size. I took a picture of the shoes alongside her current size 7 shoes, and they’re basically the same. While I was hoping these would be a little bigger for use later this year, they will still work just fine as we move into spring!
