Perfect gift for my 8 year old! She’s been wearing it every day and enjoying the features the watch comes with (steps, photo, voice recoding, games, etc). She’s become more aware of time and works out every day to beat her steps goal. Takes about 1 hour to recharge the watch and you may want sure to recharge the watch ahead of time. My niece just turned six and she's a big JoJo Siwa fan. This was part of her Birthday present, along with a JoJo doll. She was SOOOOO excited when she unwrapped this. She ran around so excited. It was VERY easy for her to learn to use. Simple to navigate for a child and all-around easy. Zero frustration for parents or adults. She mastered it within an hour. I gave this to my daughter last year for her 7th birthday. She absolutely loved it! She cried! She loves JoJo! My daughter is very careful with her toys and We had absolutely no issues with the watch until now and she’s about to turn 8. She lost the charger for it and I’m not sure if maybe a combination of using a charger for another device combined with not letting it charge properly before usage caused it to go off into the same high pitched scream mode mentioned in the other reviews.....that scared both of us immensely. We were about to go to bed. I could not turn it off. I tried smashing it and nothing worked. I’ve seen nothing like it. Finally I read the reviews and saw it could be reset with a needle. (Thank you!!) This worked. I can’t imagine we could ever take this out in public anywhere for fear it would go off again randomly. It does seem to be working just fine now. I will update my review. I noticed that it did seem to get very warm also and don’t feel like it’s safe for my daughter to wear on her wrist. She does still love the watch so it’s a total shame they failed to test these models better before releasing them to the public for children. Read more

Gave as a gift to our 6 year old granddaughter and it was an immediate success. She learned how to operate all the features after a few hours of wearing. Easy to understand the icons. All the features were fun for her, even the pedometer! The initial charging took about an hour and I would recommend charging daily since the camera has a lot of features.
