These are my dogs favorite balls, we have 3 of them. My only qualm is that the rope has come out on all three of them after about 6 months, but that's not surprising consider my two large breed dogs tug of war with them frequently. Even without the rope, my dog loves to toss it in the air and headbutt it. They are her favorite thing! Read more
My dogs (40 lbs & 65 lbs) have this toy in both the 6" and 8" sizes. Both of them love both sizes. My dogs are experts at toy destruction, and we have had our 8" one for over 6 months and even though the rope frayed and I had to throw that part away, the ball is still in one piece and they still love it! This is our 2nd ball. Super fun for our dog who doesn't particularly like to play fetch. Highly recommend. This size is perfect for our large breed (72lb) dog. It would be helpful for Amazon to give a better size description for this item--i.e. based on breed size. Read more
This is a great size Jolly Ball for your dog to play with inside the house (or out). My dog enjoys playing with the much larger version hanging from a pulley on the ceiling of her indoor play park, but that one is too big for the house. The only thing to know is that your dog will most likely chew through the included rope in a few days or less. The rope is basically made of thread that is twisted and weaved - like some rope toys at the pet supply store. I recommend buying marine grade or climbing rope - or thick, heavy-duty cotton rope - to thread through the center hole and tie in loops for longer durability and tug-of-war play. Read more
