We have two German shepherds. They will be three years old this summer. These boys have other balls to play with. But they always gravitate to this one. We started with one for each dog before they were big enough for them. My son ordered them and did not realize they weren't little puppy sized so we kept them until they were big enough. And that was nearly 3 years ago. They have played with him nonstop since they were puppies. And somewhere along the way about a year ago, we lost one. We tried replacing it with a different ball which works just fine and bounces and does all the things. But this ball is the one they both try to get to first and have very vocal and in-depth German Shepherd disagreements over.🤣 so I got them another one so now they each have their own again. (Although, they are like toddler children and they still always want to have the one that the other one has.🤷♀️) One of my shepherds will chew on toys that are made of this material for quite some time. He is not what you would call an aggressive chewer, he's selective about what he destroys 🤪🐾 but he definitely will focus on destroying a toy that seems super chewy to him. This ball will take it all and stays in shape no issues after three years. Very durable provides lots of fun for them with fetch games. They are both very active and playing fetch is a big deal to them. Highly recommend this ball for its durability. It does have a place to hide treats, but they have never wanted to get the treats out of it. They just prefer to play fetch and carry them around. It is made of a strong rubber type of material I think. It's strong enough they can chew on it, but not hurt their teeth. Read more

We have a lab mix who chews through everything and most slow feeder toys are hard plastic. Yeah, he'll get through the food and the plastic in no time. He LOVES this ball. There's a larger hole in one end so you can stuff it with kibble or whatever and the dog has to roll it around so kibble falls out. He doesn't seem to notice it slows him down, he just likes the game. And when it's empty it bounces well for games of fetch - if it lands on a hard surface on the larger hole it will take a crazy bounce! The ridges also make it just a fun chew toy for him. He hasn't been able to puncture or tear it at all. It also has a scent, slightly sweet like vanilla. Overall I'd definitely buy more for my dog... if he ever manages to destroy this one, which I doubt. Slow feeder, fetch toy, chew ball, indestructible- what CAN'T this ball do? Read more

The Jolly Pets Tuff Ball with Treat Holder is a fantastic addition to any dog owner's toy collection, especially for those with energetic pups who love to chew and play. Measuring 4 inches in diameter, this bright red ball is not only visually appealing but also designed to withstand a good amount of rough play. One of the standout features of this toy is the treat holder. It allows you to insert treats or kibble, which keeps your dog engaged and mentally stimulated as they work to get the goodies out. This feature is particularly great for keeping dogs occupied during playtime or when you need a few moments of peace. While the durability of the Tuff Ball is impressive, it’s important to note that it is not indestructible. My dog, who typically destroys toys within minutes, has managed to keep this one intact for several weeks, but I can see that with enough determination, even the toughest chewers might eventually wear it down. The ball also bounces unpredictably, adding an extra layer of excitement to fetch games. However, I did find that the treat holder can be a bit tricky to clean, especially if you use sticky or moist treats. It requires a bit of effort to ensure that all remnants are removed, but this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall benefits of the toy. In terms of size, the 4-inch diameter is perfect for medium to large dogs. Smaller breeds might find it a bit cumbersome, so I would recommend checking the size compatibility based on your dog's breed and chewing habits. Overall, the Jolly Pets Tuff Ball with Treat Holder is a durable, engaging, and fun toy that provides both physical and mental stimulation for dogs. It’s a great investment for pet owners looking to keep their furry friends entertained and active. Just be prepared for some messy treat clean-up, and you’ll be all set for hours of play! Read more

This ball is absolutely incredible. Both of my dogs tear through absolutely everything I've ever given them. Not a single toy has ever stood up to them. Until this one. I've watched both of them chew at these for hours on end and they're still good as new. They're the perfect size, great for fetch, bouncing, treats, chewing, all of it. I've bought maybe ten or so over the past couple of years, not because they get destroyed, but the exact opposite. We end up just losing track of them or we like to have multiple around. I will continue buying these for as long as I have a dog that likes to chew. Read more

We’ve had this ball since Christmas. I’ve had the bigger ones that are different material they get holes and chew marks. The natural rubber is soft and bouncy yet durable no chew marks. Others by jolly pets/balls were destroyed in a few weeks or less. Great for playing fetch and catch. This is the one!! We’ll be back for more. Read more
