In terms of the device itself, it has a soft cover. The on/off button is small but responsive. I'm not a fan of the color light options (all color lights seem gimmicky to me), but the white has three nice intensities. I bought this gadget for my baby niece, and she loves to play with it. It comes already ready to be used and soft enough not to harm any infant. The built-in battery makes it perfect, as you can install it anywhere and recharge it when needed, eliminating concerns about cord length. It works exactly as it should.
