It is perfect for daily casual wear whether running errands, going to brunch or lounging at home. I even wear it at bedtime. Soft ! Yes! I purchased four of these JomeDesign sweaters so far. Two plain vneck, one Henley style , and one hooded . The material is quite soft , similar to a cashmere blend for way less cost. Grabbed a few as Christmas gifts for my adult daughters. Absolutely one of the most comfortable sweaters I own. The sizing runs a tad bit on the larger size but this particular sweater is meant to be a comfy , larger fit. Great for layering especially for someone who runs a little warmer , even in New England weather lol. They wash very well with no issues, no shrinking, no pilling which is a no for me . I can’t think of any cons other than sizing for those who like a more fitted garment, I would double check measurements. The price is incredible so hopefully they stay this price! These are “ok” - not “great”. I have 2 problems with giving these a rating higher than a “3 star”. I ordered 2 - one green and one dark purple - both the same size. The sizes are inconsistent between them - the green fit as I’d expected, given the measurements they provide. The purple fit as if it were a size smaller. I checked their tags, and they both “said” they were the same size. I ordered 2 sizes larger than I “needed”, because I WANTED them to be larger, for layering. The colors? - not even close to being as vibrant as they’re pictured to be - so much so?, I can’t help but suspect the images are “enhanced”. I’m not talking about color SHADES, which can vary based on a person’s screen - I’m talking about the actual COLORS. The green is so close to grey as to actually BE grey with a slight green-ish tint. The purple’s better - but not by much - but it at least LOOKS like a shade of purple. The fabric’s nice and soft. I can’t speak to their durability or whether or not pilling will become a problem - they’ll have to go through the wash a few times. As others have said, these are lightweight - but you’ll get some warmth. If you want WARMTH, you’ll need some layering. In summary? I’ll keep them… my “issues” aren’t bad enough to warrant returning. This hoodie is great, especially for the price point! You can't beat it! I love the color, material fabric is a bit thin, see through, you can see my bra through it if I don't wear a layering shirt underneath! But otherwise ,it is surprising warm and it is cute.
