Great alternative to BSA scout pants. They fit boys AND girls well. The XL fit my thin14 year old daughter's hips, even though they are long. The XL also fit my 5'7" son in length. Even though they are long on my daughter, it's hard to find scout-like pants for female curves. I will say that these pants are probably not for larger-waisted kids. The sizing tends to be more about length than waist size. Read more
Fit perfect! I am a female size 0 and have been buying boys jeans and shorts forever. They are a lot less expensive and fit me better. These are perfect for my 5'3 height and fit like a glove. Will order more! (I am a boys 14-16 btw and the ones I purchased are a Large. Read more

Perfect scout pants for my son who is 5'1, 133 lbs. The size 18 fits him great. He can easily unzip the pants to make them into shorts and zip them back on again. It works just like a jacket does in terms of the mechanics of the zipper. Very pleased with these pants, especially the price point considering the "official" scout pants are upwards of $50. These are good pants, and I had already bought three pairs in three different colors for my skinny 11-year-old boy, who doesn't like shorts and says that these are great to wear in the heat as they are lightweight. The green ones are also suitable as a cheaper substitute for his Scout uniform pants. But when I ordered another pair in green, it was a full 2 inches larger in the waist, and way too loose for him. I returned them, and ordered another pair, hoping they'd be like the first three pairs... The pair we then got was 1" larger in the waist, which isn't ideal but we can make it work with the belt, so we're keeping those. Very frustrating though that the sizing isn't consistent! Read more
