I’ve had these suction hooks inside my shower for several months now and they have worked out flawlessly. I have a back brush and loofah hanging from one and my glass squeegee on the other. When I ordered these, I had questions about how well it would function and how study it would be. I don’t have questions now—these are the best hooks I’ve ever installed! They look incredible, very high quality and kind of bougie, but they’re so easy to install and are incredibly sturdy—which is surprising given that they’re suctioned on, but the suction really works! These work as I hoped! I put them up in a matter of seconds, and it is just as easy to take down! I put one of the hooks on my bathroom mirror to hang the hand towel and it has been on for weeks without budging, even with water drops on the mirror. It holds a heavy wet towel securely. I tried hanging one on the wall for my towel but it fell down after 10 minutes. I was sad because the listing says it can hold on any smooth surface, but my wall was painted with acrylic paint so maybe the wall was a bit uneven. That being said, it probably doesn't work on any painted surfaces. But these do work on all mirrors, windows, my refrigerator, tile, and more! I purchased these for my bathroom. We use them to hold lightweight bathing accessories such has back cleaners and squeegees. So, I really don't stress the hooks with a lot of weight. But they are placed in a very humid environment and have not dislodged. The hooks are held to the wall with a suction cup that is actuated with a simple push button system that draws the center of the cup away from the surface creating a suction. The suction cup also has a sticky material applied to the surface that, by itself, adheres very strongly to smooth flat surfaces. In fact, after mounting one hook to the wall I had to remove it and move is a little to the side. Removing the hook, was very difficult and I had to pull on the removal tab (on the suction cup) while trying to dig my fingers up under the rubber cup. I think the soft, sticky substance helped fill any small air leaks between the tile surface and the suction cup. The cups work great for me on a flat ceramic bathroom tile that has a slightly rough, grain surface - the surface is not polished smooth. Our hooks only supports fairly low weight objects which is fine for me. However, in my opinion it could probably support significantly more if required. Good product at a reasonable price. This set of suction cup hangers have a nice modern look to them and are made of heavy duty quality material. They function even better than they look. I love that they are reusable. All you need to do is wash them with a little soap and water. Once you let them dry and they are ready to use again. The suction to them is very strong and can hold a decent amount of weight to them. They also can be attached to several different surfaces as long as it is a flat smooth surface. The lock on the suction to keep them in place is handy. You do have to put a good amount of effort to click the lock in place. I got them to use them on my glass shower door. They look so much nicer than plain suction cups that wanted to keep falling off. I now want to order more to place in other areas of my house. Read more

These suction cup hooks simply do not work as described. Following the directions carefully, they still would not hold my purse, which is maybe 8 or 9 pounds fully loaded. (Yes, I know - its heavy for a purse) Also, once it fell off trying to hold my purse, even following the directions, it would not even hold a half pound robe. I can't imagine it holding 22 pounds in any set of circumstances. Unless the directions were incorrect, these do not function as advertised. A brand new one, used for the first time, will probably hold a dry towel okay - but I doubt it would hold up to a wet one. Two stars. Read more
