Really great stride in these

M. WilsonDecember 4, 2025

So my big gripe with these boots is that the company put them in a box that's too small and it bends the whole top down leaving a flop sort of effect on the top. I think if you store the boots correctly, that will be gone but it's still there in the beginning which is discouraging. So, full disclosure, I totally looked at this wrong and thought I was ordering wide or regular shoe width. Mess up for me. I didn't need a wide calf boot so they look like the photo on Amazon on my legs - there's lots of room left outside the calf. However, these are some of the most comfortable boots to wear. I do have bunions and typically have to get a wide shoe but the size 6 feels great on my foot. Also the soft rubber sole provides a nice walking experience that isn't jarring when you place your foot down. It's just a nice soft step. I can still wear these under jeans and they look nice and feel great. I think this is a great brand - I've bought their shoes before which is why I so quickly jumped on their boots and got confused about what I was ordering 😆. They feel great on the foot and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this style boot. Or even the regular fit if that's what you need Read more

Looks stylish, but price is steep

John Mark De la PenaNovember 20, 2025

These are very classy, calf high leather boots. The brown color way is definitely better for the design than the black boots, since these are a matte, no shine leather with a little bit of fake, printed leather texture to it. The black seems like a ren-faire outfit only, while the brown is better suited for everyday fashion. The look is really good and it pairs really well with almost any fall/winter outfit. Had a moderate heel & sole thickness. These shoes are comfortable, and come with good structure and a very wide and tall heel cup, that provides a lot of support. That makes these shoes very comfortable and they have good squish and give in the insole. No problem walking around a large university campus in these boots. Good grip in rainy weather too. If these shoes had a tighter fit, they'd be good for light trail hiking too. Fit is the biggest question. According to the size chart. My 9.4 inch long foot should have gotten Size 6.5 (9.5). But I got size 7.5 (9.8). So I would recommend thinking about if you have wide feet or a tall arch, rather than getting your true size. I recommend sizing up only half a size. I got a whole size larger, and it feels a little roomy but has no heel slip what so ever, so it's fine. But I could have gone smaller, and I prefer a more secure fit. Price-wise, this shoe feels more like a 50 or 60 dollar shoe rather than an 80 dollar shoe. It's not bad at all, but I feel like it could have been a lower price. Read more

These Boots Are Made for Walking — And They Really Do!

TamraDecember 8, 2025

The media could not be loaded. Journee Women’s Brandi Knee High Stretch Casual Boots: A Detailed Look at Comfort, Quality, Style, and Drawbacks After wearing the Journee Women’s Brandi Knee High Stretch Casual Boots for a little over a month, I’m excited to share my experiences with fellow boot shoppers. In this review, I’ll break down my thoughts into Comfort, Quality, Style, and Cons, offering specific stories and comparisons to help you decide if these boots are the right fit for you. Comfort Comfort is always my top concern with boots, and these Brandi Knee Highs exceeded my expectations. I have exceptionally flat feet, which usually makes long walks in boots a challenge—most pairs either lack arch support or squeeze my feet uncomfortably. However, the built‑in arch support in these boots is a game-changer. For example, I’ve spent several afternoons walking around the local park and even tackling errands downtown, all without the usual foot pain. With other boots, I often need extra support (like my cane), but the wide, supportive sole of the Brandi boots gave me enough stability to walk short trips without it. Additionally, I’ve had a few boots that dig into my calves, but these boots have generous tops that easily accommodate both my calves and even wide‑legged jeans tucked inside—something I can’t say for any of my other boots. My usual size 7.5 M fit perfectly right out of the box. Quality When it comes to build, these boots impressed me with their well‑made construction. The faux leather feels sturdy and has proven water‑resistant through several rainy mornings and damp sidewalks. While I did notice the absence of visible sole‑stitching (a feature sometimes seen in higher‑priced boots), the soles remain firmly attached after consistent wear. The treads are substantial and provide reliable grip, which made a noticeable difference during a recent hike on a muddy trail—much better than the smooth‑soled fashion boots I previously owned, which were slippery in bad weather. Even after repeated use, the boots show minimal signs of wear, which speaks to their durability for everyday activities. Style Versatility is a highlight of these boots. I wore them to church one Sunday and was pleasantly surprised by the compliments and questions they sparked. Friends debated whether they were work boots, rain boots, or just a stylish everyday option. Ultimately, we agreed they’re excellent “all‑occasion” boots. I’ve paired them with jeans for outdoor chores, with leggings for casual outings, and even with a skirt for a more dressed‑up look. Compared to my chunkier rain boots or my dressier ankle boots, the Brandi boots bridge the gap—they’re practical enough for the outdoors yet stylish enough for most social settings (though maybe not for a semi‑formal occasion). Cons No review is complete without a look at the drawbacks. When I first unboxed the boots, they were folded in half and wanted to keep that shape, likely from being packed tightly for shipping. Once I put them on, they stood up perfectly and didn’t slouch while worn, but after taking them off, they still tend to collapse. This folding could be a minor issue if you want your boots to stay upright in a closet or on display. Over time, repeated folding might affect the long‑term shape or make the material crease more where they bend over. For me, it hasn’t been a major annoyance since they perform well when worn, but if you’re particular about boot storage or want them to maintain a crisp look when not in use, it’s something to consider. I may hang mine on a skirt hanger. Conclusion Overall, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the Journee Women’s Brandi Knee High Stretch Casual Boots and would recommend them to anyone seeking a comfortable, versatile, and sturdy option for everyday wear. While there are minor drawbacks related to pre- and post‑wear folding, the comfort and style far outweigh this issue in my experience. If you’re looking for a boot that can handle both errands and outings with ease, these are well worth considering. Read more

Fits my large calf’s but at what cost!!!

Shelley MarieDecember 13, 2025

I would give these more stars but they aren’t worth the money to me. I had a hard time with the heel on the inside of the shoe digging into my heel. I fixed it with tape but still, poorly made. Not waterproof and not warm. Fit is good on my calf with plenty of room. Read more
