I remember my dad's brown dress up shoes. When he put them on, he ment business. I’ll be honest, I’m usually skeptical about buying dress shoes online because the fit is such a gamble, but these Jousen Oxfords really nailed it. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly right out of the box. The lace up setup is great because you can actually pull them tight for a tailored look without them feeling restrictive or "pinchy" around the toes. The comfort is the real winner here, though. I was on my feet for about six hours (spoiler alert, I bought the shoes for that. And bite the bullet and bought my 1st pair of brown shoes) ceremony, photos, and way too much dancing and I didn't have that desperate urge to rip them off halfway through. The cushioning inside is soft, and the rubber soles have enough flex that you don't feel like you're walking on wooden planks. In terms of looks, the cap-toe design is super sharp (I think thats what Oxford is?). They have this polished, high-end finish that looks like real leather, but the material is actually pretty rugged. I accidentally scuffed them against a curb, and it wiped right off; no permanent damage. The stitching feels solid too, not like those cheap pairs that fall apart after two wears. I'll update if anything changes. That's my style. Good shoes. They say Milian on them, I'm sold. Read more

These oxfords are a solid pick if you need a quality pair of dress shoes without breaking the bank. The synthetic material has a nice polished look that holds up well, and the classic cap-toe design gives them that timeless, formal vibe. Fit-wise, they run true to size with a standard sizing system and have plenty of room for my toes. The lace-up closure lets you adjust the tightness to your liking, which is great if you have wider or narrower feet. I've worn them for long days at the office and the built-in cushioning insoles are really comfortable and help reduce foot fatigue. The outsole is soft and flexible and provides decent traction, so you don't feel like you're slipping on smooth floors. The stitching is neat and tight as you can see in my pictures and the uppers look great and seem like they'll hold up over time. These shoes definitely don't sacrifice style for affordability. Overall, they're a versatile, comfortable, quality pair that look and feel way above their price point. Read more
These Jousen Men’s Cap Toe Oxford Dress Shoes made a great first impression. They arrived thoughtfully packaged with each shoe in its own protective dust bag inside the box, which kept them looking perfectly clean and well protected during shipping. Right out of the box, the shoes look very sharp and well made. The cap toe design gives them a classic, polished style that works great for business or formal occasions. The material also has that great leather smell, which immediately gives the impression of good quality. They look sleek, professional, and much more premium than I expected. Overall, these shoes arrive well packaged, look clean and high quality, and make a strong first impression. Definitely a solid choice for anyone looking for stylish dress shoes. Another big plus is the value for the price. For a dress shoe that looks this polished and well constructed, the cost is very reasonable compared to many other options. They give you the style and appearance of a much more expensive designer pair of shoes without the high price tag, which makes them an excellent value overall. Read more
These 'Jousen Men's Dress Shoes Cap Toe Formal Oxfords for Men' are nice looking shoes suitable for causal and some formal occasions. The stitching at the soles do stand out contrasting with the dark color of the shoe making it more visually appealing. However, this may not be a type of contrast in a shoe that you'd want to use for very formal occasions. The shoe is shiny, but not high gloss as a patent leather shoe would give you. It stands out as looking nice but doesn't stand out too much as being distractive. This is an attractive shoe with a black rubber sole that is thick and unlikely to slip, perfect for a rainy day. The shoe laces are thin, round but not waxed. That's not a great problem but something I noticed. I've never seen shoes laced this way before. One side starts at the top of the shoe while the other side begins at the bottom of the shoe. Until you recognize that, this makes loosening the laces initially to then tighten them to your foot awkward. These are totally synthetic uppers and lowers. No leather. However, they look a lot more expensive than they actually are. They look very classy. These are comfortable to wear and the thick rubber sole will cushion your every step. Being a rubber sole, these will be quiet shoes to walk in. These shoes will be a pair that will be sure to please you. Read more
Got these for my husband as his current plain black dress shoes are older than our marriage. He liked them immediately on taking them out of the box. They are a good, basic black dress shoe that he'll be able to wear a lot. The tread on these is great - a nice heavy rubber sole with much more grip than your general dress shoe. He noted that these have to be worn with dress socks, they do not fit right with anything thicker than that. There is also a break-in period with them. On his first wear he had them on for several hours and said the cushioning is not the best for standing a long time. This doesn't bother him as this is fairly common in dress shoes. Overall he really likes them and will get a lot of wear out of them. Read more
