Make no mistake this is not a daily use item, but I will tell you as a costume or adult play time item it will certainly do the trick. For size reference, I ordered the 4XL, and had my back laces almost touching closed. I’m 5’5 at 240 LBs, a DDD chest, at 47 inches across the center of the girls and 40 inches at the underbust. At the largest part of my middle I’m 42 inches and at my hips where the bottom part covers I’m 50 inches. It survived an entire Rocky Horror picture show live showing complete with (very hilariously on theme) running through a Texas thunderstorm to get to the theater and three whole rounds of the time warp. That might not sound like a whole lot but I’m a member of the Big Bitty Commitee and I bent over to take a bow and jumped around and not once had any accidental exposure. The front clasps make it very easy for one person put on, and the back laces make it very adjustable for size, with a good few inches of fabric to cover the space even if you let the laces out so you don’t have to worry about looking half put together with the skin of your back showing. With all that action and it having gotten wet there was some creasing in the fabric where I have a very sharp hip dip (I’m hour glass shaped but less 50’s pinup and more gourd) but I don’t think that would have happened otherwise. And just because I wanted a certain look I did have a friend give me the Victorian “yank those laces tight!” Treatment. The inner fabric was very comfortable, very t-shirt cotton vibes, and not once did I feel any sharp poking or pinching that you often get from these costume type corsets. I didn’t even wear a bra or nip covers underneath. And an even better note is that the outside doesn’t look cheap at all, the design is very well embroidered. I ordered it for a last minute Halloween costume and I was afraid it wouldn’t fit but it’s perfect! I read tons of comments to figure out sizing, I’m 5’5 185, pants size 12 and M/L shirts 40c bra and I got the XXL and I think it fits pretty good.. could I have sized down? Maybe. Probably would make my boobs look a lil bigger but to be safe I’d go 2 sizes up from your shirt size. I haven’t worn it out yet so I’m not sure what the mobility is but the quality is there for the price and it’s very pretty. Read more
