This weighted suit is very comfortable compared to others I’ve tried. I’m about 5’7 190lbs and this fits perfect. It also has plenty of slack if you are a larger built. I’ve used it to hike, run and pull ups. It does not get in the way. You can barely notice it on your body. You really only need to use one strap and loosen the other and when your ready strap it tight . There is a slight smell to it and so I let it sit outside for a day before I put it back on. The first day was heavy but after a few days you body gets use to it . It’s a great way to gain more muscle it burn calories. Depending on what your type of workout is. Great product. Read more
I love this vest! It did not have a funny smell at all. It does not feel heavy. It feels like I am in NYC in the winter with a heavy jacket on. The weight is equally distributed so it does not feel like I’m lifting weights. I notice I stand up straight with it on so it’s obviously helping with my posture. I highly recommend this item. Overall value and usability gets three starts. There are some very large and wide velcro straps. So that works great to keep things secure, but this is a huge negative for smaller or frail fingers. This seemed designed more for women, but the straps are not. Very difficult to modify or release, etc. Especially when you might be tired after a workout. Would recommend but I'd caution to test usability quickly or return if too difficult. Read more
Super comfortable. Seems really sturdy. Easy to adjust. Fits great (I'm 5'7" and thin). I've used it for walking flights of stairs and on a treadmill. Fantastic! Great value for the $$. No smell at all. Read more
I'm loving this weighted vest and it's excellent quality. I love that I can adjust the weight with the little packs. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's a little hard to put on and take off by yourself. The straps come around from the back and through the metal loops, then you pull them back behind you and velcro them down under a flap that is also velcro. And this is not easy, as the velcro is EXTREMELY strong. So you have to reach behind you to pull the flap up before you can fasten the straps, which is not easy... and then to remove it you have to pull the flap up again and pull the straps off of the velcro. This adjustable weighted vest is not ideal for a petite frame (I’m 4’11”). While the fit is adjustable, it still doesn’t tighten snugly enough. The removable weights make it adjustable in load, but they feel awkward and don’t seem to distribute weight evenly. For me, the poor fit and uncomfortable weight distribution make it unusable. I’d recommend a fixed-weight vest for better balance and comfort, especially for petite women. Read more
I have been looking for a weighted vest to use for walking and exercise. I like this one because the weight is distributed evenly from the front and back. The additional weights are easy to add and/or remove. It is comfortable to wear and helps me stand up straighter. Quality is great and fit is comfortable. Read more
