I used to have a very similar item but this one is even better! It's taller, so it holds more, and the lid is really nice to keep people from being able to see what's in it. I read that some of the reviewers had trouble opening the lid but I have had no problems with it. It's not terribly tight or anything. But then, my hands are healthy so I am not sure how well it would do if I had arthritis or an injury or disability. If I did I imagine I might want something like a coin or key to pry open the lid. Possibly if I had long nails, too. Sits nicely in any of my cup holders. Really appreciate how many coins it holds, and how securely they stay in place while still sliding out very easily with my thumb. No rattling while I'm driving. Really nice to have a place to put coins and have an organized supply at hand for meters, vending machines, laundry or any purchases needing exact change. Love it. Nice and discrete. I got a new truck and didn't have the change storage of my previous vehicle so I purchased this for the cup holder. It is discreet and doesn't scream HEY THERE'S CHANGE IN HERE! I keep it in a a black plastic cup holder in the back of the console as its a bit skinnier than the cup holder and will wiggle around some. It does fit well in the side door pocket cup holders though, where larger things don't typically fit. When I went to the carwash I was able to pull it out, get the quarters I needed without digging and get on with washing the truck. Read more
