I love these J Sole cowboy boots. The medium brown color is beautiful and versatile, and the stitching detail is a great touch. I especially love the harness detailing that extends underneath the boot. The square toe adds to their classic look. They are made of a very soft and sturdy vegan leather with a sueded feel, which I really appreciate because no animals are harmed. For a vegan option, the quality is perfect, and they are a great value. They also have two pull up straps that lie flat against the boot, making them easy to get your foot into, even with a high instep. The interior has a soft, padded lining that prevents any rubbing; they also have memory foam padding on the bottom and feel like they have a subtle arch support, which is a great bonus for cowboy boots. The fit is perfect; I normally wear a 9.5 in regular shoes, but I got a size 10 in these boots, which is my usual practice for boots. The rubber sole is excellent quality, designed to look like leather. The heel is about 1 and 3/4 inches, and it feels very sturdy. The quality is fantastic; they could easily pass for real leather from a distance, and I am very happy with my purchase. I was gifted these boots for review. BTW, the box came a bit damaged. The box was placed in a plastic bag for shipping. I use my boxes to keep my boots in. This is the only downside, but it doesn’t take away from the boot at all. I just wish the box came in a box. These boots are comfortable. Cute. Soft. A little bit of a challenge to take off because they hug your heel. They are lightweight and look as advertised in color and shape. I would say order a half size up. I did (lesson learned from a previous experience) and it was a good idea. They fit a tad snug even after the half size bump. But after wearing them in, they'll loosen over time. I can't say much for how they will hold up with extended use, but I won't be wearing these all day every day so I imagine they will work for a while. They seem to be made decently. Read more
