I am not one to buy jewelry off of Amazon- I’ve got a multitude of face & body piercings but these were last minute as I’ve got an event and can’t find my jewelry box after moving house. I don’t like externally threaded posts but they didn’t irritate my ears at all and were easy to sleep in. I didn’t have any issues with tightening the backs and there is more than enough room between the back & my ear so that there’s no pressure being applied to my skin from the earring. They’re cute and affordable, and interestingly enough the issues I was having with my right lobe cleared up a day after putting these in. I do have sensitive ears so that is a pro for me. I enjoy the fact that they give extra backs in case you’re like me, who has been pierced all over for 10+ years but always forgets to close the sink drain before putting jewelry in over it. The hoops are also snap backs which I’ve always preferred (they may get stuck at the hinge sometimes so just take them and wiggle them to ‘break in’ the hinge). Absolutely loving these. . I haven't had any issues with my metal allergy. These are holding up very well, look nice, and are simple to put in. Very happy with these. My only complaints are some of the posts are a little shorter and make it difficult to screw on the back and the backs do tend to come loose so you have to check them at least once a day. Amazing quality! Having hypersensitive skin makes finding good earrings a little more difficult, and the constant stabing from typical straight back earrings was annoying. These are super comfortable and cause no skin reaction for having metal allergies. The flat backs make them super comfortable and the color paint doesn’t chip or wear. The flat backs can be difficult for someone with larger fingers or long nails when putting them on, definitely worth getting a jewelry applicator if that sounds like you. Read more

These are really challenging to get on by yourself. They are durable, look great, made of good materials, all that sparkly jazz, but the length of the back part of the earring makes screwing it to the front part really difficult. Other types of flat back earrings have backings that are pockets to the front parts so it’s easier to put them on (if that makes sense). These earrings are long enough to fit through the ears, they are tarnish resistant, and if you have a partner or friend to help get them on, they’re fine. Read more

I thought I would like the flat backing, and I do, but sometimes screwing them in is a PAIN. Worth it, though because I put a pair on and they DO NOT fall out. I sleep, work, and shower in them. I haven’t seen them tarnish and get that black color or make my ears green or irritated me at all. Read more
