I was so excited about this juicer, when i got it in the mail i tried to juice right away. It made enough for about 10 oz then it stopped working. i unplugged it and tried plugging it in somewhere else and it wouldn't work. This cannot get clean! You can see in the first pic how food gets caught up inside the rim. It is impossible to get access to this area! The plastic pieces seem to be getting “eaten” by the food (celery is all I’ve used). I hand wash these pieces and use the provided brush. It is literally like acid eating plastic or something like that. The fogginess in the pics will not “come off” and there’s just getting more and more of it. The one metal piece does clean very nicely with the brush where needed. Returning as I am concerned about the health safety of the plastic used in this product, as my health is my priority. Since beginning this review, I looked up the label coding on the plastic. It’s 7…and that code is not made to be used with food and states to stay away as much as possible! Read more

This product was just ok when it arrived but now a few months later and it’s getting worse. The pictures are of the pieces of veggies and fruit getting stuck in places that cannot be cleaned. I even saw it molding. I have tried many different ways to try to get to the gunk. You cannot pull that piece apart to clean it properly. I soak it in bleach and hope it helps. Sometimes when juicing things like carrots or red beets the machine makes a horrible noise and shakes. It also leaks and splatters, and YES, I know how to properly put it together before each use. Many times fruits like lemons, limes or ginger don’t get juiced and as they bounce straight into the waste bin. Also seems like the simple acid from oranges and limes affect the plastic juice gathering container. I guess I got what I paid for. Very disappointing. I’m giving 2 stars because technically it still works in a way. Read more
