Okay guys this is a lifetime belt. You can have this belt till you die. It is heavey duty. I love it. The first time when I put it on it was a little awkward because the part you slip through the buckle goes in the back not the front which also looks nice because then your belt is smooth around your waist with nothing sticking out. You will not be disappointed if you get this built I'm going to have this for the rest of my life. It could be handed down as an heirloom from generation to generation... seriously.. lol. Handsome, minimal packaging. Belt material looks and feels high quality. Ratcheting mechanism does feel a little flimsy, but works fine. Practice using the belt and don't force it and it should last long enough considering the price point. I have a feeling the reviewers posting pictures of broken belts were forcing them instead of being patient. It feels sturdy enough to me and offers positive locking into all positions. I have found that it is easier to release the ratchet by putting light pressure on the release lever then pushing the belt inwards slightly as though you are tightening it. That releases tension and allows easy removal. I've also found i prefer to press on the locking bar on the back of the buckle directly to release ratchet tension. I might actually grind off the little lever nub thing out of personal aesthetic preference and elimination of a snag point. At first i though the ratchet bar was going to be a comfort issue because it seems to stick out of the rear quite far. In fact, it seems to settle into the gap where the button on my Levis fasten quite nicely and acts as a locator tab, helping to keep the belt in place. It is not uncomfortable or annoying. I could live without the branding on the front and the fake belt loop thing on the buckle but it is an otherwise subtle and handsome looking belt and the black finish looks nice and durable. Overall a high quality product that has converted me to ratchet belts. I'll never buy a standard belt again. If it lasts more than a couple years this is an outstanding value. This is also an ideal belt solution for folks with a CCW license carrying on the waist in any position. I bought four of these for my husband and sons. They are amazing! It's so strong, so easy & quick to buckle, lays nice and flat under their clothes & it will definitely last forever! This thing is made so well! Also I had a little issue to address with their customer service & they are absolutely amazing too! Been using this belt for 3 years almost every day. Still works like brand new, the fabric of the belt and the mechanism have held up perfectly. I use it for CCW often and it is extremely strong and supportive. The finish on the buckle does wear down over time but this is obviously to be expected. Read more

Love this belt. I always liked the ease of these type of belts cause you just feed one end into the other and it just clicks into place. I'm not a shirt tucker so I wear this for work and for casual purposes. The release mechanism is easy to use, just flick and hold the switch and pull and everything loosens very fast. It holds my pants up very well and because of the way the belt itself is design you have many different length options. I would 100% recommend this to people.
