I returned this item. I thought these were beautiful and I liked the style, these however are not for a wide calf. Read more
These are buttery soft and very comfortable. I love the square toe, which allows more room for my feet. The buff color is a khaki tan with griege undertones -- very rich! The wide calves are very comfortable, and I love how the fabric naturally relaxes and folds toward the ankle. Because of the wide-calf opening, they only have a color-matched zipper at the ankle to help slide your foot in. The inside has a thin, foam-like liner all the way up the leg which is comfortable. The block heel is tall, but the boots feel stable. The only downside is the ball of the sole has no traction, just minor lines in the smooth plastic that I'm sure will wear away quickly. The heel has an added rubber layer with traction which helps a little. (I know in bad weather I tend to tip-toe around puddles or snow, so no traction at the front is very concerning for my non-graceful self. I'm debating seeing a shoemaker to see if they could add something to the sole that would aid traction and minimize wear to help them lasy longer. Everything else about these boots is perfect! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these when I purchased them, but I wanted a tan boot for Fall . when I tried them on, they were absolute heaven and super comfortable. I am not good with heels, but these don’t feel as high as they look and the square toe makes them so classy!! If you need this style boot, you better grab one you won’t regret it!!! Read more
Everything about these felt cheap to me, the color, the style, the fabric, how they fit. I'm not sure why, because they are kind of in line with the pictures, but they just feel...different in person. Traction didn't really exist, I legit slid a couple of times when trying to haul it somewhere. Not expecting a ton from Amazon boots but at about $70...they didn't feel like they cost more than $10 per pair to mass produce them. Read more
Beautiful boots. I get compliments every time I wear them. I had to size down half a size to keep my feet from slipping down into the toe area. Read more
