This is a review of a Jump starter, tire inflator and light all in one. This is designed for big engines up to 8.5L gas but is also ok for small ones. It is big and on the heavy side for a jump starter since it comes with added tire inflator but not enough to take a lot of space on your trunk. Came with its own carrying case that houses this device, jumping cable adapter, tire inflator hose, charging cable and some inflating accessories. My 3.5L suv did lost its charge and I was able to test this and it did work on starting my vehicle with ease. Clamps are big and looks sturdy, says 10gauge on the label and seems visually accurate. Also came with voltimeter in case you need to make sure that it is the battery that is causing your issue versus other things like fuel, starter, etc. I was also able to top off my tires. Its tire inflator is automatic after you set the desired tire pressure. It just needs a little bit of screwing the hose since its not attached permanently or cannot be attached when in storage case as it will not fit but sure works for emergency without the need to attached to vehicle's battery. It will go over the desired pressure by 1 psi as it stops inflating, it will equalize and will usually land +-1. Inflator seems slower compared to other dedicated tire inflator but seems ok for emergencies. The hose did heat up so I do not think this is best to be used for inflating tires constantly. It can be charged with USBC and did charged at peak 5v 2.5amps so it shouldn't take forever to charge it once used. My battery went to 3/4 (not sure how accurate this is) after 1 jump start but in my experience, it will last multiple jumps. One issue I noticed is that its resting voltage is 16.4v. Not sure how dangerous this is but a running vehicle is usually 14v. None of my electronics are broken but keep in mind. Read more
We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.2L V8 that has been sitting in the yard for over a year, went to move it and the battery was so dead that the interior light showed no sign of life, had to use the key to manually unlock the door. Totally dead battery. I hooked this rechargable jump starter up to it, and at first the jump box threw an error code. Not surprised. Unplugged the box to keep it reset and have it a minute to pump some power into that dead battery, then I turned the key. Whoa ! That old truck turned over like it had a brand new battery in it ! Started right up. So I'm sold, this is worth the money... Less than $100 can save someone a lot of grief if you keep it with you. I was going to wait to do this review until after I'd used the tire pump, but even if that takes 3 hours to fill a tire, I don't care. I got it for the jump start capability, and I'm very pleased, impressed even, with it's performance. Edit: I used the tire pump function today, so far it has topped off 8 full sized tires, 4 on the 4x4 truck and 4 more o the 4x4 Jeep Cherokee, and it doesn't take it long to fill them. One tire was down to 22 psi ( it's been sitting awhile ), and this pump brought it back up to 32 psi in about 3 minutes. I have the pump set to fill the tires up to 32 psi, and the pump stops itself automatically when it hits 33 psi. So I'm also impressed with this little unit as a tire inflator now as well. And, after all of that work, the battery has only gone down one bar on the charge indicator. AAA + and recommended. And now it's time to stop, put it away, and save it for emergencies. I snared this battery-powered hop starter ready and at first the leap box tossed a blunder code. Not astounded. Turned off the crate to keep it reset and have it a moment to siphon some power into that drained battery, then I turned the key. Hold up ! That old truck turned over like it had a shiny new battery in it. I have a fresher vehicle that doesn't accompany an extra tire. It accompanied a siphon and some fix a level, yet the siphon is slow. I needed something quicker and this bounce starter accompanies an air blower. I have had a battery flop in my vehicle previously and there was no advance notice before hand. It simply didn't wrench. How I would have wanted to have this then. In any case, this will kick off your battery in a moment or two, air up your tire, focus light on you for quite a long time, and charge your telephone. The manual prescribes charging it like clockwork to prepare sure it is crisis. I set an update on my schedule to do that. It has a pleasant presentation that will show the charging. It is lightweight and accompanies its own case. I believe that all vehicles ought to accompany one like this. This jumper is magnificent I disdain that it needed to break part of the way through perhaps it was cuz of downpour perhaps it was on the grounds that it was dropped I don't have the foggiest idea however when I utilized it was extremely predictable and I love that it had USB charging and that it could top off your tires. This is an impressive product with so many great features. I have a tire that slowly leaks air, so I used the air compressor to top it off, and it worked fast and great. The light also came in handy. It’s nice how you can set the pressure you need, and it automatically shuts off when it reaches it. There are also adapters to blow up yoga balls, sports balls, etc. The instructions are not very helpful, but it’s pretty easy to figure out. I haven’t had to use it to jump start the battery, so that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars for now. I’ll update after I use it. You can use it to charge your devices with the c-port, which will be great in a power outage, or camping. It comes with a nice carrying case, is very small and lightweight, but packs a lot of power. I would recommend that everyone have a battery jump starter/air compressor in their car, just in case. Read more
