I have bought 3 of these for various rooms throughout my house. They add a nice, natural, textural element to the spaces. They hold a couple of loads of laundry each, and are easy to carry. They're far more attractive than the mesh hamper I was using and the handles are comfortable. I haven’t experienced any odors from manufacturing, and they stand up well on their own. This jute laundry basket was the exact right side and color for our baby nursery. I wanted something low key with handles that I could carry to the laundry and dump right into the machine. This holds a good amount of baby clothes, I haven’t gone this long yet but I would say 2 weeks worth of daytime and night time clothes. It is durable, good quality material and the shape nice too. So at first I was upset because it came folded & floppy & had an odd smell. It wouldn’t take the rounded shape as shown in the picture, AT ALL! It looked so unappealing initially. I was about to return it but thought about stuffing it as full as I could, & I literally forced it into a round shape, & let it sit for a week. I just put a TON of, I mean a ridiculous amount of linens & clothes. I overstuffed the heck out of it & everyday would squish the clothes & manipulate them or even add more to mold the shape. It’s kinda annoying, but thankfully we were behind on laundry lol and now it’s super cute! You can flip the handles up or down & they stay, but I did leave them flipped up for the first week after unwrapping. The weird smell also aired out & is gone. With a little febreze it was fine. Great little bedroom hamper. We did get a bigger, more sturdy hamper for the laundry room, but this was originally intended for the bedroom so I really like it!! Read more

It fits perfectly between my couches and looks super cute. I have a coastal aesthetic, but it really goes with just about any style. The quality is great, and I especially love the height:::five stars because most baskets are shorter… I have dogs, and the shorter baskets seem to invite them to play in the blankets or leave hair on the blankets. It is made very nicely of jute and looks good. The basket was too big for me and the wrong shape. But I gave it 3 stars as it comes folded and will take ages to straighten if at all. The handles also glop over. For these reasons I returned it. Read more
