so, after 2 southern summers, and two border collies with a penchant of not wanting the other to have something, this ball as finally got to the point of needing a proper disposal. I estimate that they have played tug-o-war with this ball about 26 bazillion hours. (I did buy a two pack, but a neighbor hood dog decided to take it far far away. I see some complaints about longevity, and am sure that if you own a pair of pits... this this ball will not last, but my borders (about 40 pounds apiece) have certainly gotten my monies worth. My Aussies love these balls, I love watching them play with them. They pick them up and throw them, then chase them and bring them back to me to throw or kick. They are squishable too, so easier on my dogs when they are catching them. They do need to be supervised while playing with them or one of them will sit and chew through it. Took off 1 star because they don't offer a choice of colors, and my dogs do have preference. They both prefer red, I was sent a green and purple one. I don't know if it's because red is easier to see or something else, but they had no interest in either of the new balls until I got rid of their old torn up red one. They are happy to play with the other colors now, but I will order from someone who offers a color choice next time. Read more

This was my second purchase of XL Hol-ee rollers. My doberman puppy loves them. The previous two are still intact (purchased about 8 months ago ) but she didn't fetch them from the bottom of the hill we live on (and I am too lazy to rappell down ) so I have to ordered more because they are so much fun. This size is probably not fit to put treats in unless you at stuffing in half a chicken but my dobey loves them to play fetch with no treats needed. These XL are too big for her to sit and chew on so when not supervised she just ignores them. That's why they are so far not broken. FYI I also have a medium Holy-ee roller for playing on the patio because XL is too heavy for me to throw for 30 min (her usual play time ) with my arm. Love these balls! My dog is a big chewer but we don’t use these for treats and she absolutely loves them. Light enough to play ball inside. Strong enough to play tug. We have some that lasted years only threw away as they got moldy after getting stuck outside all winter. The jumbo are about the size of a normal soccer ball. Love them so much we keep two inside and two outside, in addition to smaller sizes. Read more
