JW PEI Womens Autumn Metallic Conch PU Jacket

I wanted to love this jacket, the shape and style is another knock out of the park for JW Pei. But, I had to detract a star for the way the item arrived. It was folded up in such a way, without tissue paper or anything to protect it, that is is incredibly wrinkled. And due to the nature of the mayerial, im not sure how to fix that. It is very unusual to order something from this brand and have it packed without care. As for the fit, I ordered my usual size 6 and its a perfect fit. The sleeves are long and slightly bell, the buttons close perfectly and it cinches in my waist perfectly. The shoulders fit well, and overall i love the look. The sleeves on this thing is very long. But it will be fine since this jacket does not have pockets, so the long sleeves will keep my hands warm in the cold. This is true to size and very form fitting. If you slouch, the mid section will pop out as there is no button there to keep it in place. You will be restricted with mobility since the jacket is so form fitting, but it looks great if you keep your posture up! You can wear it unbuttoned, but it looks way better with it buttoned up. My biggest complaint is that for the price this is selling at, you would think quality control would be really watching things. The thread for the top button was not tied correctly, so the button was coming off of the jacket. I had to hand sew the button back on securely. Also, you have to be careful when unbuttoning because it is pretty tough to separate the buttons, and if you tug it too hard, you could rip the material and end up pulling the button off the jacket. I would treat this jacket as fragile and handle with care. Hand wash and hang dry only and be careful with the buttons!
