I got this to supplement the one I've had for nearly a decade, I'll pass that one on to a family member. - Lots of zippered pockets, good for organizing, easy access to stuff you'll need (e.g. your 1 Qt. toiletries bag) - Cinch belts to help keep it compact - Top handle makes for easy grab and go Only downside is the top of shoulder straps attachment is a weak point, I've had to re-sew/reinforce this on my old one. Nice size backpack, much larger then I thought it would be. Plenty of pockets to store items in, plus one pocket with spots for pens or pencils. I'm using this for work, to keep my equipment in and extra clothes and there is plenty of room. The zipper on the main compartment goes all the way to the bottom which allows it to open up more then other bags I've used, which is very helpful when trying to put jackets or sweatshirts inside. I really love this backpack. Very roomy and all pockets are easily accessible. The one major drawback that I've noticed is that the backpack requires much heavier stitching where the shoulder straps attach to the top of the bag. The stitching from the manufacturer is pretty lightweight. Regular use combined with heavy loads will result in the strap beginning to separate from the bag. Mine started separating after about a month. I've since stopped using it until I can get to a tailor to beef the straps up with heavy duty stitching. Read more
Got this for my 11 year old son. Very nice backpack, very well made. Quality construction. Should last him through middle school. Maybe beyond. Thick padded straps for his shoulders. Shipping time was as posted. Water bottle included and a strap for attaching his lunch box. Read more
