As a dedicated Canon EOS 60D user paired with the legendary Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens – my go-to combo for everything from cinematic video shoots to sharp landscape photography – protecting that pristine glass is non-negotiable. I've tried a few filters over the years, but the K&F Concept 72mm MC UV Protection Filter from the Nano-X Series has quickly become my favorite, offering top-tier defense without compromising image quality. Right out of the box, the build screams premium: the shockproof tempered optical glass feels incredibly robust, and the slim aluminum frame threads smoothly onto my Sigma's 72mm front without any vignetting, even at the wide 18mm end. The 28 multi-layer coatings are no gimmick – they deliver HD clarity with minimal light loss, effectively cutting UV haze on sunny days while repelling water, oil, and fingerprints like a champ. I've tested it in drizzly hikes and dusty urban environments, and a quick wipe keeps it spotless, thanks to the waterproof and scratch-resistant properties. No more worrying about accidental knocks or environmental grime damaging my expensive lens! In terms of performance, this filter is optically invisible on my 60D setup. Shooting wide open at f/1.8, I notice zero degradation in sharpness, contrast, or color fidelity – flares are tamed in backlit scenarios, and the multi-coatings handle reflections beautifully during golden-hour portraits. Paired with the Sigma's already stellar low-light prowess, it lets me push the 60D's 18MP sensor to its limits without introducing artifacts. Plus, it's lightweight enough not to throw off balance when handheld or on a gimbal. Value-wise, K&F Concept nails it again: for a fraction of big-name brands like B+W or Hoya, you get pro-level features in a filter that's built to last. It even comes with a protective case for easy storage in my bag. If you're rocking the Sigma 18-35mm on a Canon 60D (or similar APS-C body) and want reliable, high-performance protection, the K&F Concept Nano-X UV Filter is a must-buy. It's transformed my workflow with peace of mind and uncompromised results. 5 stars – absolutely recommended! Read more

I was hesitant to put a "cheaper" filter on one of my sharpest lenses but I'm happy I did. I have these on my sigma 50mm 1.4 ART and notice no vignette or u wanted flares. The low profile fit is perfect even when I stack a polarizer or ND on it and I like the "ribbed" grip areas for making sure it's tight tight. This one seems to be nearly the same quality as much more expensive filters so I'd say it's a great value for the $. I know it's a small thing but the car it comes in is nice for storing one lens if you are trying to cut weight. Should protect my expensive lens from the kind of hazards I co.e across as a travel photographer. I have nothing bad to say about it. Read more

This filter doesn't affect the picture abilities of the Nikon P950 when on the camera. It helps balance the photo's and doesn't detract from the camera's abilities, like the 2000mm zoom. Fits onto the lens well, with no problems. Came with a nice package and lens holder. You can use other lenses over it, because it's threaded on the outside also. I would highly recommend this filter from K&F Concept. I was pointed to them as company from a photography magazine. I own one of their filters and now their carbon fiber tripod which is also a high-quality product at a superb price, in other words, a great value. Thanks K&F Concept for a great product at a reasonable price!!! A+++++++++++ Read more

Optical clarity on this MC UV filter is excellent! My usual go-to for multi-coated filters has been Hoya, however for about $15 less, this UV filter has equivalent quality. The anti-reflective coatings render the filter nearly invisible when viewed head-on, as they should. The coating is also very hydro- and oleophobic, I had to make considerable effort to leave a fingerprint! I have no worry about lens flare or reflections when stacking a filter on top of this one. Once I clean a lens, I leave the UV filter mounted all the time for extra protection. Learned long ago that it is better to sacrifice a $30 filter, than a $500 lens; thankfully it wasn't the hard way. Can't say the same for my friend. Just as other reviewers said, this filter is extremely clear. I can't even see the filter glass in front of my lens front element unless I put a bright light right next to it for a reflection. It's that clear. The special knurling on the sides (if you want to call it that) is very grippy too, so you can easily get the filter very secure, which is great if you like to leave the filter on indefinitely like I do. The filter edge does not bulge out at all, so it doesn't interfere with putting my lens hood on, and even being low-profile, it has enough threads on the outside for my polarizer to fully thread in. There's no vignetting with this filter and my polarizer on the front, even at 17mm on my 17-50. Read more

I got this because when we travel I tend to use my nikon quite a lot. Constantly removing and replacing the lens cap has become a real pain. I dont want to take a chance on damaging the lens by accidentally bumping it against so hard object. This seems like a good alternative. I still put the lens cap on when not using the camera for extended periods. Read more
