This PhonePod Tripod is one of the bulkier ones I have had in recent years, but it is a nice unit with magnetic holder for the phone and a redundant clamp for extra grab. Base is wide and the stick is long enough for almost any application. Despite its hefty look, it is surprisingly lightweight and easy to use. All parts work smoothly and seem to be made of quality plastic parts. The remote control connects to my iphone via BT with no problem. For the money, this is a great buy if you shoot video or photos with your phone. Read more

I have owned several selfie sticks in my time. I am a seasoned solo traveler so the selfie stick is crucial to my travels to be able to capture memories when I am by myself. My immediate thought when opening this K&F concept selfie stick tripod was that it was easily the nicest quality one I have ever owned. I LOVE that it has a magnetic arm too! This solves one very obnoxious problem I have faced with all of my other selfie sticks - the need to remove my phone case in order to fit in the arms of the holder. This one also has arms if needed, but I found the magnet to be very strong and secure. I would not hesitate to use the magnet because I trust in its ability to hold securely. It folds pretty compact when not in use too. It is super easy to set up the tripod as well. I also appreciate that the remote has a strap on it. I have lost the small remote to my other selfie sticks so many times in the past. The only downsides I would say is that the remote is rechargeable (could find yourself without a charge when you need) and it is a bit heavy (but I think the trade off for that is the sturdiness of the tripod). I do wish it was a battery operated remote so I could easiy travel with a spare battery, but that is just my preference. Others might prefer it to be rechargeable. I have been wanting to get a tripod for quite some time, but I really didn't like the idea of having one I needed to figure out where to store. When I saw this, it looked like the ideal one for me, and it sure has been! I originally just wanted this for long exposure shots, but after I got it, I realized I'd be able to use it for my GoPro too (which I initially missed that this could work with). I already have an added magnet to my Android phone, for magnetic Popsockets, so the magnet on this tripod has worked perfectly for my phone and is very secure. My GoPro also attaches with ease. I love how compact this is. It is small enough to put into a bag, but extends out to be quite tall, even taller than I am. It's design is nearly perfect, and I also love that it's not only a tripod, but a selfie stick as well. It feels sturdy on level ground, but it does feel a little risky to use on tilted or uneven surfaces. I wish the legs were just a tad longer for more stability, or that there was a fourth leg; whatever would work for more stability on uneven terrain. While I haven't used the remote control yet in field, I have paired it (which was very easy) and it seems to work great. I am so pleased that this has ended up being such a versatile tool for me.
