I have been looking for something that i felt could effectively clean my sofa that has been through ALOT as we have a toddler in the home. After doing alot of research and shopping around, I decided to buy the Karcher carpet extractor because it seems that most German made products are made of high quality materials and craftmanship and boy was i IMPRESSED!! I was able to pull out impossible red kool-aid, marker, (and who knows what else) stains out of my white couch! I expect this machine to last a lifetime and am happy with my purchase. This is the investment, and it's a significant investment if you have a lot of upholstered furniture and pets. We don't have carpet, but it will definitely work with it. It's easy to use, but the correct chemicals and understanding of the process can be learned from videos. Read more
