This is a cute Kaftan dress. It’s very large and roomy. It ended up being too big for me but it’s soft and the color is amazing! Definitely high quality and comfortable material. Read more

This product was given to me to use and evaluate for my personal and honest review. I requested this product because I absolutely love wearing kaftans. I picked this particular one because I loved the heart and the colors. I also liked the braided center. My expectations of this kaftan was that it would fit me being a plus size woman. Also that it would be comfortable to wear at home, on the run, and to sleep in. The experience that I have had with this kaftan is first I wash and dried it and it did well in both aspects. Came out of the dryer, not shrunken and no wrinkles. It is very comfortable to the touch of the skin so nice to wear and sleep in. I did not get hot during the night while wearing. It fit well. The quality of the material seems to be very nice. The craftsmanship was nicely done. No missing stitches or hanging loose threads. Hangs on the body evenly. The braided center is well done. Looks great on this kaftan. This kaftan met my expectations. It held up nicely in the washer and dryer. Thin material so comfortable for summer and to sleep in but not see through. Hangs nicely on my body. I wear a 22/24 in pants and a 3x/4x in shirts. This kaftan fit me like a glove. I'd say though if you are larger than those sizes this kaftan would not fit you. The slits up the side are pretty high up on the leg/thigh. I believe that this helps for me to be able to wear this one. Since it's at my size limit. I can't attest to the durability as of yet. If I have any issues I will update my review. In conclusion I believe that this kaftan is well worth its price point. I would recommend this kaftan to family and friends. It's beautiful and fits well. The colors are gorgeous and the braided center makes it more unique. If you are on the fence about getting one I'd suggest to go on over the fence and get you one. Definitely worth it. I don't think you'll regret it. Read more

I’m in between what I’ve decided is a regular XL, a regular XXL, and a 1X in overseas sizing. In American sizing, I’m usually an XXL and anywhere between 18 and 22. I’m also only 5’1”. Every time I find a new style or a new manufacturer it’s a guessing game and I know I’m not alone with this feeling. When I received this dress, it was a little too large for me, both in length and in width. I was parading around the house in my trying it on, and I kept getting the back of it stuck in between my feet and my sandals. For a kaftan that is listed as being plus size, I’d expect it to fit someone who typically wears a 2x. I don’t believe this will fit a 2x comfortably as it will be too tight. However, I do believe that if you are 5’3” or taller, you likely won’t have the shoe problem I did. This kaftan is made from 100% viscose. It’s a cool, very lightweight, quick-drying, almost slinky fabric. It’s really comfortable. It also shrinks, a LOT. Because the dress was too big for me, I purposely hand washed it with gloves on, in the hottest water I could tolerate with the hopes of shrinking it, and then I dried it in the dryer on warm. Now, I was hoping for this outcome, but I know many of you won’t be. But I managed to shorten the dress by at least an inch, and I’m no longer getting it caught up in my shoes. It’s also much tighter around the rear and waist, but in a way that makes me happy. Again, I know many of you won’t be pleased, and I highly recommend washing it in cold water and drying with no heat. It's very comfortable. It’s not the highest quality, obviously, but it’s what I expected at this price point, which is currently $20. It’s practically a single piece of fabric folded at the shoulders and sewn from just below the armpits all the way down to mid-thigh. What I didn’t expect is how perfectly the woven part between the breasts would land, regardless of whether I’m wearing a bra. I also didn’t expect it to be flattering either, but it is, even on my frumpy self. The side slits come up high enough that it’s easy to get in and out of bed without it feeling restrictive and I like sleeping in it as well as wearing it as a house dress. I see others complaining about how if you reach for something that the entire dress comes with you, but that’s exactly how a kaftan is designed, and this dress shouldn’t be faulted for exactly what it claims to be. The pattern is beautiful and is very 1970s. I’m definitely going to order more from this company, but I will do this knowing that I can shrink the dress to fit me. Read more
