I have never had a dress of this style before. It appears to be well made and of good quality. I like the simple black and white colors and the pattern. It is pretty comfortable and the material is on the softer side. It is not stretchy though, which is fine. It's large enough to kind of feel like you are wearing a light blanket haha. It's great for a vacation bathing suit cover up, which is what I used it for. I was swimming in it, so it's roomy enough for up to a 3x, I think. Read more

Oh, what 70s child doesn't dream as being as fabulous as Mrs. Roper and having a collection of mumu's.... I have never quite lucked out in thrift shops to find a vintage one, but I've been keeping my eyes open! I was super excited to see this Moo Moo and had to order myself one... I chose the vividly colored butterfly one, which is not quite as vivid in person as the pics of the lady wearing it when you scroll down to see the detailed product description and photos on the amazon product listing... But it's not that far off from the top photos when you select the design in the amazon listing... And fit wise.... it's a moo moo. It's one size fits all, and it fits true to size! It's quite loose, so I'm not going to say that it's super flattering or sexy - it is low cut enough that a bit of cleavage peaks out... Which may be a perk for some and for those that it wouldn't be a perk for, it's still very subtle and demure.... The butterfly pattern/design does give the kaftan more shape than you would think... A note/challenge/something to keep in mind - it's difficult to use the toilet with this, without part of the moo moo ending up in the toilet water. There's just so much fabric.... you gotta bundle it all up, keep it up high, and keep holding on to it for the entire performance and when you stand up from the toilet... There are no care instructions sewn into the inside of this moo moo... The product listing does say either hand or machine wash cold (I put it in the washing machine without problem)... but the product listing doesn't say whether you can use the dryer to dry it... I didn't risk it, and just hung it to dry... It's a lightweight fabric, so it should dry quick - but it is a lot of fabric to spread out. But overall - this is airy, lightweight, and super fun - but yeah, it's a Moo Moo. And it's fabulous... for a Moo Moo. But it's definitely a lightweight airy coverup that could be used in the summer heat and is definitely modest. Read more
This kaftan has quickly become my favorite housewear. I chose the colorful black butterfly design, which has a stained-glass look to it, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Wearing it genuinely brightens my day. The fabric is smooth and silky feeling, made from 100% viscose, and it drapes nicely without feeling heavy. It’s incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The batwing sleeves are thoughtfully designed, with the seam set in from the edge, creating about four inches of soft flutter along the arms that flows down the length of the garment. As shown in the photos, this seam placement allows the fabric to move and flutter rather than hanging stiffly. The sleeves are generous and comfortable without causing the garment to slide or fall off the shoulders, even on my smaller frame. There is also a side slit that comes to just above my knee, which makes it easy to walk around and move comfortably without feeling restricted. It is a one-size design, so it does run a bit roomy on me, but I actually find that makes it perfect for relaxed, casual wear. I like wearing it over a simple sleeveless shirt around the house, but it would also layer easily over a t-shirt or even a thin turtleneck, depending on the season. It would work beautifully as a swimsuit cover-up at the beach. At the same time, it’s versatile enough to wear beyond the beach—throw on flip-flops for running errands, or add heels and it could easily work for a casual dinner out. Overall, this is a comfortable, colorful, and versatile kaftan that feels more like wearable art than just a cover-up. Read more

Horribly made. Not stitched well on the sides and came apart the first day. Wouldn’t buy. The side stitching keeps coming apart. Will have to see it back up myself Read more

really like the look of this kaftan dress and the pattern is just as nice in person as it appeared in the listing. It has a great flowy fit that makes it very comfortable and easy to move around in. The material is extremely light and breathable, which makes it feel like a good option for a hot day or as a quick beach cover-up. However, I noticed right away that the fabric is very thin and feels a bit on the cheaper side. It is almost see-through in certain lighting, so you definitely have to be mindful of that if you aren't using it strictly as a cover-up. That said, the batwing sleeves and V-neck give it a nice style that doesn't feel restrictive at all. Overall, it’s a cute and easy piece to wear as long as you are okay with how thin the material is.
