Air fryer works 5 star for cooking. But has no end of cooking time buzzer. Amazon wouldn't replace unit and send another. Thay want to reimburse my price I paid. Problem is l got it on there big sale, and replacement price is 27.00 dollars more than I paid. Read more

I used the auto setting for vegetables but my broccoli burnt on top. Having to experiment some on times & temps as they’re general, not specific. Meats cook great! Juicy, tender, & tasty! Read more

This Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer is a decided upgrade from my first air fryer that I purchased here on Amazon about a year and a half ago. I was actually pretty happy with that air fryer, but I knew eventually I wanted something with slightly larger capacity that was a bit easier to clean. Then I had the opportunity to review this Kalorik Maxx. It’s exactly what I wanted! What I love about this Kalorik Maxx air fryer: 1. It is VERY Easy and Quick to Use. There is a “change it” dial to switch between presets that can also change the temperature or the cooking time. There are just two buttons (pictured): Press the top one to make the temperature or the time blink, then use the dial to quickly increase or decrease either. If you don’t want to use a preset, just use the dial to switch to the first preset, toggle with the button as needed to either time or tempurature then use the dial change the amount. It takes me just seconds to get the preset or custom time/temp set up. Once you’re ready, then press the lower button to start or pause. If you pull the basket out before your time is up and then push it back in, it will continue the cooking right where it left off. 2. Clean-Up is a Breeze. Instead of a grid basket within a larger basket, there is a snap in non-stick grid “tray” in the bottom of the basket. I am cleaning fewer square inches, and I can put just the grid or the entire basket in the dishwasher. It takes up far less dishwasher space than my older air fryer. Because it is so easy to clean, I find myself using it more often. 3. It Has a Smaller Footprint. Not only is this air fryer smaller on the outside for a slightly larger capacity interior, it has a flat top that can be used for storing a few (non-heavy, heat resistant) items. I keep a silicone trivet on top and a couple of air fryer pans. 4. The Rounded Square Shape. I find this shape easier to fit items into as opposed to my prior round air fryer. 5. It is Much Quieter. It’s quieter than the one I have been using. Perhaps there are some that are even quieter, but I am pretty happy with the dampened noise level of the Kalorik Maxx because it doesn’t sound like a helicopter trying to take off from my kitchen. 6. It Cooks Well. I haven’t noticed any deficiencies in its ability to cook items to crispy goodness. What I don’t like: It beeps periodically if I remove the basket and do not replace and close it – even if a cooking cycle has finished. I will have to investigate to see if I can turn this feature off. Right now I just snap the basket back into place. I would happily recommend this air fryer to anyone looking for a quality air fryer. Yes, you will spend a few dollars more than a bargain brand, but you will spend more time cooking and less time cleaning so you will enjoy this far more. Read more
