I have the pair that are white with black grippys. I normally wear 6.5-7 in shoes and these fit great! They are snug and absolutely SHOULD be. I've worn them several times - I wash them on delicate in the washer and air dry. They've held up great! I wear these only to pilates and they work great. I hate the ankle version because they end up twisted around my foot in wide-legged stances; these are tall enough to stay in position. I've literally never had to adjust them during class. I received these at a discount but I would definitely purchase if something were to happen to this pair. Highly recommend! The price is on the high side if you're a casual pilates practicer but they are worth it if you are serious and encounter slipping issues with other grippy socks like I have. I love doing my very simple home ballet workout in these socks. Thicker than summer socks, they are warm and feel substantial on my feet. Unlike ballet shoes, I don't feel like I have to make a choice between footwear that either pinches my toes or gaps at the end when I point. And unlike the dance sneakers I've been wearing lately, they are much more comfortable and I can clearly see what my feet are doing. I wouldn't wear these on a dance floor that might have splinters or other potential dangers, but on a yoga mat, or dancing at home, these will be my new favorite footwear. I don't know yet how well they will launder, and will probably hand wash them since I like them so much. Because I don't like slipper socks, I was concerned that the rubber grips on the bottom would annoy me. However, I found that as long as I position the company logo in a way that avoids a sensitive area on the ball of my foot, I don't feel the grips at all through these socks. I was also concerned that the grips might hinder moves, such as tendu and turns, that require footwear that can slide on the floor. The socks are, in fact, fine for these steps. They offer a bit of resistance, just a little more than rosin. If they do well in wash, I'll definitely order more. Read more
OK, this is what my girlfriend told me about these, "Wow, they fit nice, the bottoms are grippy without being sticky, and they make my legs and feet look so cute." I do agree about them looking good. :) There were no strings, pulls, tears, etc. The quality is high - they fit the foot snugly so they do not shift around, but do not smoosh the foot while doing it. My girlfriend loves them for when she does yoga and such. I can recommend them. Read more
When I first pulled them out of the package I thought to myself what are these for kids? And then I actually put them on and they fit my feet very well (and I think I have big feet for a girl {9.5}). The grips actually feel like they're gripping the floor unlike many other socks that clean this. The grips don't grind into the bottom of my foot like some grippy socks do. They do however feel tight, which will help with it's wearability better but it will cut off the circulation which is bad for me because my legs swell significantly. Now these socks are expensive but they are worth every penny. They feel like a hug to your feet in all the right places and the bottom anti-slip feels comfortable too. I cannot really explain it but the whole sock is just incredible. I have tried a lot of different Pilates socks and these by far are the best. I have also paid fifteen dollars for lame Pilates socks that did not deliver but these do. They are tight but comfortable and they actually make you want to work out. Read more
These are pretty good. They fit well, they look nice, and the quality seems great. I teach Pure Barre so I used these to teach and they were only semi sticky. They worked but I don't see these lasting a super long time if you are really only wearing one or two pairs. Lucky for me I have quite a few I cycle through so they work well in rotation! Read more
