Karl Lagerfeld Womens Cropped Novelty Tweed Career Vest

I love this vest, and so does my husband. It will need a Demi, or empire style bra to work with this vest because the neckline is fairly low, and also very square. A regular bra can be easily seen with the neckline. It fits true to size. I wear size 12 in Karl dresses and bottoms, and the size 12 fits like it was tailored for me. The details on this vest are beautiful. The fabric is a thick tweed-type fabric that is soft and non-stretchy, with a little bit of shimmer in it. Because it's subtle, this can be worn out to a nice meal, but because of the beautiful bling buttons and the shimmer in the fabric, this can also work well for a special occasion or event. And speaking of the buttons, they are beautiful! They sparkle, and they have a lovely, intricate design. They look and feel expensive. I love the style of this vest, and I also love the length. It stops right at the waist, which is flattering and comfortable to wear. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this vest. This is just my opinion, but at least in the larger sizes, I feel like the Karl Lagerfeld fit is kind to ladies with a bust. I wear a 36DDD, and of all the dresses that I try on, the Karl Lagerfeld clothing always looks like it's tailored for me. I love fashion, and there are a lot of brands that I gravitate toward, but the Karl Lagerfeld clothing really fits my curvy figure the best. Plus, everything is made beautifully. They don't cut corners. The vest is fully lined, and the details are all there, from the hand sewn label on the inside to the high-quality buttons, including an extra one in case one is lost at some point. I always feel beautiful and confident when I'm wearing Karl Lagerfeld. Not true to size. I ordered a size up because usually designer stuff runs small, but I never anticipated that this Karl Lagerfeld Tweed vest would be this off on size. I can't button ANY of the buttons...it's super frustrating. I was hoping to pair this vest with some really cute jeans, kinda dress up a casual look, but it's gonna be back to the drawing board with that idea. Read more

I am 5 foot three, 113 pounds and I decided to order this vest in a size 4. It fits me just right through the mid section so I think if I had gone any smaller, it might have been too snug. But, the straps and the chest area are way too big on me – – I would absolutely have to get this completely altered to make it work on my frame. I could see where this would look stunning on the absolute right body type, but it is tricky because the straps are not at all adjustable in any way. This is a lot dressier than I expected it to be because it actually has black sequins worked into the fabric. The buttons are very sparkly rhinestones, so this would be more of a holiday party type of top as opposed to a career vest as described above. This is made of 100% polyester and I found it to be itchy and uncomfortable within the first five minutes of trying it on so I would definitely have to wear something under it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Since one star is the lowest (and essentially a zero rating), I give it two stars just for the quality of the material. It’s undeniable that this vest will last a long time if taken care of. The seems and stitching are all clean and even, very good workmanship. But that’s the only positive. The size is COMPLETELY off. I’m firmly sure of my correct size (an xs/ size 2) and this fit like a size 4. With the coat in mind, I can’t believe that something as simple as the fit would be such a glaring issue. But, if the style allowed, I could easily wear it like a jacket. VERY disappointing for a Karl Lagerfeld piece. If the size below yours is available, grab it instead. Read more

This is a nicely crafted women's vest. The polyester fabric is fairly thick and it is non flexible. The fabric has a tough, and a bit course of a feel to it. The metal buttons are large, and have a glimmering effect when light reflects off of them. The design on this is well suited for a petite woman. This is a very low cut vest, it is revealing. I got this for my wife, it looks good on her and it fits her well. The size 8 fits similar to other size 8 tops she has. Read more

This Karl Lagerfeld cropped career vest is pretty nice. The material is very thick, textured, it doesn't stretch and it's lined. It fits true to size and it curves with my hips well at 5'11". It has sort of a flared fit near the bottom and it isn't too high into my armpits. Read more

The material is great, the bling buttons are "eye" awakening 😍. The top is waaaay to small😕. I can only button the first two buttons. And, because of the style and cut of the fabric, I can't wear it open unbuttoned. Such a waste for such a beautiful vest. Read more
