I really love the Karl Lagerfeld brand for its quality, fit, and style. I have several pieces from this brand, and I continue to be amazed at the fit of these clothes. They fit as if they have already been tailored for me, and this jacket is no exception. The fabric is really nice. It's a thick, woven poly/wool blend, and it's soft and non-stretchy, but it has good structure to it, which really complements the style of this jacket. The fit is true to size. It fits well everywhere, even across the shoulders, the length, and when fully buttoned up. The only adjustment that I have to make to this jacket is the sleeve length. It's a bit long on me. The details of this jacket are where it really shines. It has beautiful buttons on the cuffs, and there is a cute bow and KARL on the left side chest pocket in sparkly black that merges with the fabric until it catches the light. It is fully lined, and the inside of this jacket is almost as pretty as the outside of it. I love the length. It comes to my mid-hip, and I love that it's not too long or short on me. It's flattering. This jacket is a nice combination of classic styling with modern touches. It's a perfect work jacket, but I don't need to go to an office, so for me, it's an excellent dinner out jacket, or a go-to-the-theatre jacket. It's comfortable to wear, and it looks really tailored. I love that it will go well with nicely tailored pants, a pencil skirt, and even jeans. At the time of this review, the price is $199.00. This is the price that I would expect to pay for a jacket from this brand, made with fabric of this quality, fit, and style. This career jacket from KARL LAGERFELD is very nice. This jacket has a sparkle to it that I can't quite catch the full effect of in pictures. Some of the threads are shiny that give it that sparkle. It's pink, fuchsia, black and white tweed. It has two button closure front pockets and a sparkly bowtie with "KARL" on the left breast. This jacket is fully lined in satin that has KL's on it. There are five hook and eye closures down the front which don't stay hooked very well. I would have liked a hidden black zipper instead. It can be worn open or closed and dressed up or down. I'm thinking a nice pair of jeans, black pointed toe ankle boots and a simple black or pink top underneath. All in all, a beautiful jacket and the quality you would expect from a high-end designer. Jacket — 11/24/2025 This thing was like two hundred dollars, so I am forcing myself to call it my “important meeting jacket” to justify the price. I am imagining myself wearing it with black work slacks and comfy heels, trying to look put together. I ordered an Extra Large which is normally pretty baggy on me, but this was tight in all the wrong places. This jacket is an excellent high quality. There is a proper lining like I expect in a jacket of this value. I do recommend sizing up if you can if you are a little busty or wide shouldered like me since it's a little snug, but it otherwise fits pretty close to true size. I really like the style as well - it's very flattering and professional looking. Other than being a tiny bit snug for me, it is also quite comfortable.
