Kasper Womens Sleeveless Sheath Dress

This is a sheath dres designed for a figure with a waist somewhat narrower than hips and bust, like hourglass figures. I cannot speak for how it will look on someone shaped differently. But, I CAN see it would look just as nice on a tall girl. I am short and curvy, wear a 10-12 normally, 150 lbs. 12 is loose. I may be exchanging this dress for the next size down. I already ordered it and will either keep the 12 and have it altered or see if 10 fits better. I ordered according to bust and at 41 D, it appeared 12 was right, but it's loose in my waist and somewhat loose in the hips. I can see it's going to be gorgeous and perfect with either a little tailored or if the chest fits on the smaller size. If you are between sizes, order down. I purchased this in a smaller size with a matching Kasper jacket to wear to a funeral in 2020. Fast forward 3 years and I needed a bigger size for the dress. Was thrilled to see it offered on Amazon, and it's the same great product I purchased in a department store. It is exactly what I had, and is an exact match for my jacket. The dresses are very nice, the material is soft but not flimsy. Overall, I think the quality is very good. My only problem is that both dresses are too snug around the bustline. I am busty, but a bit narrow around the hips, so for those who also have that issue, you need to consider that. Overall, if you need dresses that are appropriate for a professional work setting without a lot of frou-frou, but are also suitable for a social function (wedding, cocktail party, etc.,) these Kasper dresses would work. In addition, if you are a minimalist, they are simple enough to wear as is. On the other hand, if you are like me, you could add a scarf or chunky necklace, or you could simply belt them and look dressed to go. Read more

I love this dress but I gave 4 start as the length wasn’t as the picture shown, is below the knee. But then I realized looks better and elegant in that length. I Just want to let you the true about the length., unless if you like longer length then ok does not match the picture. This dress fit me very well; I am 5’4”, 160 lbs, with a pear-shaped, mature body. Since I buy sheath dresses with my hips in mind, I was concerned that this garment would not fit my bustline properly. It did! This is probably due to the princess seams down the front. It fits well through the shoulders, and although the underarms are cut lower than expected, they did not gap or reveal my bra. The material is quality, it is nicely lined, and has a stylish kick pleat in the back. The back zipper is hidden discretely in the back seam. My only complaint is that the hem is below my knees; this will need to be altered by a seamstress. I paired the dress with a sparkly hip-length formal jacket, and also a more casual blouson top, and both combinations “worked”. I think I will wear this often! Read more

The color is a nice. Style is versatile. It is not too clingy, but not for anyone more than 15lbs overweight. No wrinkle issues. Size is accurate but longer than showing here, if you are under 5’6. I had it hemmed. Read more
