This skirt is beautiful, lightweight, and has a soft suede-like feel (even though it’s not real suede). The color is just a bit lighter than the photos, but still very close. I first ordered a large, but it felt a little tight in the waist, so I sized up to an XL. The sizing seems accurate — I just went with Amazon’s suggested size and it wasn’t the best match for me. The length hits mid-shin, the fabric doesn’t wrinkle easily, and it arrived nicely packaged. There’s no lining, but the material is thick and opaque enough on its own. I love the fabric and the color (I got olive green). The waist has a big elastic band built it, which I like. The seams on the front are pretty. However, I don't think it looks as flattering as it could in the waist area, but it's not bad. I see myself in it and it looks like my waist disappears. But maybe I am being over critical. This skirt fits perfectly and is soft and comfortable! The medium is a normal medium size and there is a slight stretch to the material making it super comfortable to wear and zip up in the back. Nice skirt. Has the look of suede, lays nicely. I sized up to make it lay well through the hips. (I am a bit hippy). It will be nicely paired with boots.
