Buttery soft leather. Well constructed. These biker boots have a slight girly twist to them. If your pocketbook allows, these are a fun pair of boots. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10. Ordered a 10. Just enough room for a small insole, if I am going to wear them for an extended period of time. (I'm old. Insoles are a staple.) Correctly sized and comfortable. The wider top is new to me, but they seem to look good with several style choices. Casual or dressy, pants or a dress, they are a beautiful pair of boots. The outer material is satin smooth. I don't think it's real leather because it seems too smooth, but I don't know for sure. It looks good though. The metal embellishments typical of a motorcycle boot are a flower shape, giving them a whimsical feel to offset the rebellious image. To add to the girliness, the outer edge of the sole is a shiny black. The sole bottom is completely smooth. The upper is fairly wide, which I find atypical in a boot this style. I also appreciated the pull loops on both sides, though they aren't really necessary since it's a wide opening. I didn't find these particularly comfortable to wear, but it's due to my high arches. This boot feels like most boots do inside. I'll need to find some inserts that might fit inside. Read more
