This kit genuinely comes with EVERYTHING you’ll need to crochet and more! First, the yarn is incredibly soft and packed with a lot of colors. Second, I love that the bag is separated making it easier to organize as well as the pouch that comes with for all of the equipment! Third, the instructions comes with nicely written ways to do stitches which is why is great for beginners, it comes with multiple tutorials for stitches and explains how to do them with pictures. The crochet hooks are very comfortable making it easier to hold without hurting your fingers. All of hooks and markers are durable and don’t break easily or bend like others. I was a complete beginner this kit is great! It includes a lot of things a person needs to start crocheting/knitting. They include a wide range of hook sizes for crochet from 2mm to 6mm, you will have to buy them separately if you need bigger hooks. It also includes stitch markers which is very helpful to have as a beginner and the functionality of them is great too! The yarn that comes with this is very soft and has a good range of different colors. The only downside to the yarn it is a bit small so it was hard for me to learn to do basic stitches with the fine (2) sized yarn included in the kit. I'd recommend getting a bigger sized yarn like a medium (4) if working with the smaller sized yarn is to hard to work with. Once I got the basic stitches down pat I love to use the yarn that was included in this kit to make a lot of things. Such as this coaster it was made using the yarn in this kit. The carrying case is wonderful, sturdy, has a lot of storage if you have a project and want to have a place to keep it so it doesnt get messed with. Overall this kit is awesome for beginners! The yarn was smaller than expected but it is perfect. It is super soft, you can make basically anything with this yarn. And the needles are perfect as well, never used these kind of needles before just plain metal is what I have always used, but these are so much better on my hands. Which are almost always cold. Im making a granny square bag with this yarn and I’ve already made three squares and there is still yarn left?! The intrusions in the book are good but I prefer free hand crochet but the instructions cover all of the basics of crochet. PERFECT FOR BEGGINERS! There are a variety of colors which makes you feel like you cannot create a whole project without changing colors. But you can make small projects with one whole alien of this yarn. And it comes with snips! They are super sharp and easy to use, my first ever pair in my 11 years of crochet. And the bag is hard to set up at first but it’s better if it is filled with the items it comes with. Looks great! The one issue i know I’m gunna keep running into with these hooks is that the size is not written on them hence the size ruler, going to have to go back and forth to find each needle size for which project it is used for. This is bag is100%. It was a gift to my 73 yr old sister and she loves it. The yarn is of good quality and soft. The crochet needles came in many sizes and with a storage pouch to keep them. Along with multiple other assorted crochet accessories. She will be on a 7 day bus trip and this will be perfect. The supplies of this is really nice, as well as the bag. However the yarn that this comes with is really bad. For a beginner this is really challenging as its already hard enough to learn, but when you have yarn that is low quality it's even more frustrating. The yarn splits a lot making doing double stitches really hard. Honestly any stitch is even more difficult. I have another yarn brand from another company and that yarn is much better and doesn't split. While learning is still hard, its easier to do with better yarn. If you are considering this product just know the yarn is not good, and you may have a hard time to use it. Read more
