I’ve been very impressed with the overall camera quality on this unit. The image is sharp, stable, and clear enough to capture useful detail both day and night. The rear camera can be mounted on the inside of the rear window glass, which I really like. It gives a clean installation and protects the camera from weather. The adjustable angle is a big plus — it makes it easy to fine-tune the view depending on the vehicle. Whether you’re installing it in a sedan, SUV, or truck, you can dial in the proper rear visibility without much effort. Out of the box, it comes with a cigarette lighter power adapter, which makes installation quick and simple. For most people, that setup will work just fine. In my case, I prefer a cleaner OEM-style install, so I contacted the seller and purchased their hardwire kit separately to connect to the battery / 12V+ source. That made the setup much more integrated and professional-looking. Overall, this feels like a well-designed and properly engineered product. A nice option for recording your surroundings while driving in case of an emergency. The image is very crisp and clear, and I like that it comes with a backup camera. It has G sensor tech, which means it will save and lock footage if it senses an impact or collision so that footage doesn't get overwritten. Easy to install if you know what you're doing. If not, or you just don't want to take the time you could have it installed professionally. The Android Auto/Carplay function is a very cool feature. My music can be controlled directly from the rearview/dash cam. So far, I recommend. Read more
